- Today we started a new series called, “Finish Strong.” Our word as a church at the beginning of the year was, “STRONGER!” Even though this year hasn’t been what anyone expected, we still need to FINISH STRONG! Our Chief of Staff, Pastor Brie Davis taught us that God uses EVERYTHING for good in our lives. There are gifts in the trauma, pain, loss and frustration you are feeling right now. My God, my God!
I was 5 years of chronic illness. Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation.
But God did an amazing work. And if he can do this, he can do it in you also. 😇🙏
I now have a Christian Channel where I encourage people and show them what God did in my life and that there is hope for you also.

I’ve never been married but I was cheated on by my ex bf... and I’ve never experienced grief and anger and frustration like that before in my life. I tried everything to heal. I got involved in a lot of new age stuff and energy healing... it wasn’t until I came back to Jesus, started to cultivate a relationship with Him, prayed to forgive my ex... that I was healed.

I missed the live but I watched it. Listennnn! This msg defines my 2019-2020!!! All of what she said.... The devastation/grief/frustration/trauma/pain/loss... have truly caused me to GROW IN MY SPIRITUAL LIFE! Each time the thorn (memories of the hurt) pricked me, I literally reached out to God deeper than I ever have before in my life!
Still praying and DEPENDING ON GOD. I have come a looooonnnggg way though 🙌 and that point where she mentioned forgiving and realizing HOW IT (kind of) feels when God forgives us. Etc but WHAT THE ENEMY MEANT FOR EVIL, God can turn around for HIS GOOD!

Suzzi P same with me too, 2019-2020 was a loss for my marriage. We’re still working through hurting and working towards healing. Every time i felt like giving up God caught me and spoke life to me. The enemy really has been trying to take our family out but God always shows up. I pray things continue to workout for you and you receive discernment through this season.

I was watching this and thought, “I could just hug this lady.” She is an incredible speaker.
My thoughts exactly
You had me at why would God allow this after I prayed and fasted and did everything right and God you said yes. It took us about six years for my husband and I to get pregnant. I would get up in the we hours of the morning to pray, went through so much medically to get pregnant and each time I would cry when my cycle would show up. Then finally faith took hold and I declared I would stop crying and I would be pregnant. The next thing I knew I was pregnant. I was 38 and my husband 39 and we were elated and ecstatic. I had already been praying over our baby's eyes, hair, teeth bones, faculty, memory, so that she or he would excel academically. and that he/she would be sensitive to God saved at an early age. She was born in 2001, two years ago at 17 she was diagnose with bipolar disorder. Yep I felt betrayed by God and said "God you saw me sitting in the dark in the early morning hours praying and you knew this was going to happen" I was so hurt, but then God reminded me of two very heartbreaking dreams I had and now I see they were warning dreams. Then he reminded me of what my daughter confessed during a session. She had made it up in her mind that she was going to kill herself when she was in middle school. She was walking home and knew exactly how she was going to do it, but then the thought came to her that I, her mom, would look at her darken room and say I once had a daughter, but I don't anymore and that stopped her. God began to show me I could have been mourning the lost of my child. What we are going through can be draining and painful, but it's a journey with God. I have learned so much about myself and we are truly depending on God like never before and developing our listening ears to His voice. I couldn't do this without Him. Thank you for the message.

For real, I drove from work today and all the way back Home, I was like God there has to be a purpose for my birth. I was born in a country, a family that from the get-go meant death and generational curses. Some people have no idea what it feels like to have to be rejected and alienated because of where you come from, to literally come from hell because your decision of family members before you.. I use to tell God, you wasted breath and energy by letting me born. I'm learning to trust in His goodness. The pain is real. This message was for me. I've been waiting for 4 years for my family to be healed. I have faith that God is producing something good in me.
I stared at this notification for too long knowing that i was holding my wounds to myself because i was too scared to let the gate open. I loss my friend tragically and haven’t fully allowed myself to heal.
I gained a new prayer life, scripture life, devotional life, a life in general. I had to break to build and Brie got me to see that again, thank you :)

"There is gain in the pain." This year has been hard due to this pandemic but then it became harder for my family. My father unexpectedly passed in July, it's still unreal that he is gone. Too many deaths has happened this year. My church has lost about 5/6 members(not from covid) so your can only imagine how hard things has been. Through it all I find peace in knowing our loved one are in a better place and that God is still faithful and good. As Pastor Brie said we shall finish strong.

No I’m not going to lie I almost clicked off when she told the story about the infidelity part . But then God reminder me of my own story of pain and where it brought me closer to him. So I thank Brie for her vulnerability and transparency and her word blessed me today and reminded me how God always brings something full circle even if it starts out in the most unfavorable conditions .

I cried the entire sermon. This was amazing. God has beamed through his beautiful lady. It was very hard to hear though. I’ve been through a lot recently. Life had previously always been easy and I rarely leaned on God. I was grateful and that was it. Now he is truly guiding me and I’m leaning on him every day shamelessly asking for him. Necessary open door daily. Even when it hurts I ask God I thought you led me this way? Why would you allow this? And he answers me. It’s hard to accept certain things but I understand these are the times God is shaping you and preparing. Faith in God is everything and he is truly teaching me, guiding me and talking to me. I’m not easy to deal with either 😜

I used to ask the question of why people
around me were persecuted more than I was (ex. Loss, hurt, etc.) but now this sermon opens my eyes to the fact that they aren't in lack, they're actually receiving favor through their struggle.
My perspective has changed.
