My exact reaction I barley even got into the story
conclusion: if you need to stop players from accessing an area that's vital to the story, don't put it behind a simple door because people will find ways to clip through it
theres no story at all so dunno why they put doors at first place.

The biggest obstacle in the game is not the cards, but the creatures, but you play peacefully.
You could say this speedrun was as easy as a "walk in the forest" :)

Dudes,it is all great that it is in Early Access, but they can't make that excuse, they at first wanted to release it like this, before they announced EA two weeks before the release, they showed solar panels, the huge hand mutant(instead there is a random guy with a magnum with poor animations), different cutscenes with the mutant and virginia, shields in the MULTIPLAYER trailer that came out a week before the game, guy with moose head on his head also in that trailer, helicopter with overgrown leaves on it(screenshot on steam), electricity(some of the trailers and promotional pictures with Virginia in the snow), like what the hell, they had this in game two years ago, where is it now? Also the game is missing basic stuff from the Forest, like a water collector, something to carry multiple logs with like that cart, the game could also use something for faster transport.
We dont really need the log cart because we have kelvin, and he is really op
And we also dont need a water collector because almost every water source is drinkible
I know you saw house with solar panels, but who told you there will be electricity in a game ?
And this man mentioned, finding water its not a problem, kelvin is sorting out logs, cart no needed, sled for fast transport.
Its not missing, its been upgraded.

You can do the entrance faster if you do the same thing but with a stick. You select to place it down and place it in the door and you will teleport trough any door

Finally someone doing a speedrun. I actually didn't buy the forest and sons of the forest for the building mechanics, I bought them for the story, exploration and speedruns. I got 26 mins in the forest ( not official tho ) so I am curious to see how sons of the forest will do. Anyways, great speedrun mate!

Super impressive but also exciting cause the game is only like 30% finished so runs will become alot more nuanced and we will hopefully see some cool tech with new items

Yes story is dissapointing, but its finished. They will add multiple endings for sure, but this one is canonical.

How many "lives" are you given? Extra one, like in the original?
If you die you’ll just be placed at a camp you can escape at, collect your bag in the middle and run as many times as possible
You die once and respawn, die again it ends the game. You can save it and reload that save to keep going but always save regularly.
Yes, one life, then u are dead.

You can only die once, if you die a second time the game ends, and you either have to reload or restart.
