Every team in the AP top 25 should consider themselves contenders.
Top 50 teams should

I love the new playoff format. I think it is more fair. At least more teams have a chance to get to the national championship. I think some people just was resistant to change, but it is changing whether we like it or not it’s just where we are now in this format at least Florida State would’ve had a chance to get national championship last year.
Should be an always been 8 teams. 4 too few 12 too many
So instead of teams winning 2 playoff games they now have to win 3 or 4.
The only problem is it is still decided by people's opinion, not the play on the field.
As long as the human element is involved in the decision making process there will always be chances for snubs, bias, and just downright corruption.
@@jamesb0255 the 11-14 seeds have no chance of winning the natty so it absolutely does not matter.
ND opens at Texas A&M,Win that and the IRISH has a chance to be Underfeated going into the big game at Home VS Florida-State!
It will be interesting to see what teams get in and how many people melt down when there conference does not get in the amount of teams they think should be in . There are a lot of good teams that could still be left out . I guess we will see later on this year .
Anyone starting in the top 25 should feel like they have a chance at a playoff berth depending on where the cards fall. Oh and usc is gonna end up with 4 wins all happening late in the season, like they always do.
Slow down on the Texas A&m hype man haha... It would be pretty funny now that Jimbo is gone that they look like a confident team. Keep in mind they would have to bounce somebody above them
Power 4 fighting for 11 spots. I like this new playoff format if it increase in the future I hope it max out at 16.
No Tennessee absolutely expects to make a playoff berth
LOUISVILLE CARDINALS!!!! COACH BROHM!!! When you go back at those cfp ranking scenarios to get in last year, Louisville was on the board! I expect to see even more improvement! This year I’m watching nc state, utah, Louisville and Colorado!
Do you think a 9-3 big 10 makes it over a 10-2 acc team?
Depends on their schedule, if the team goes 9-3 and loses to Ohio state Oregon and Penn state all ranked in the top 10 then they possibly could get in at the 11seed
Shouldnt
@@SurferRC eh I think strength of schedule should be factored in
Nope they going put 10 wins Acc teams in over a 9-3 B10 teams only 4 real teams really can make the playoffs this season I got 4 teams in the B10 can make playoffs 4 teams in the SEC can make the playoffs B12 got only 2 teams Pac 12 got 2 teams make the playoffs 🤔🤔🤔
@@Coldplay251 well one now power 4 team gets an auto bid
Georgia Alabama ole miss Texas Ohio state Oregon Utah and ND are playoff locks
Why do you guys always overlook Notre Dame?
Oklahoma has the toughest schedule in the SEC and that’s not my opinion that’s what anyone and everyone has said. If a 9-3 OU can make the playoffs? What a great first year it’s going to be.
Not a gators fan. But UF has the hardest schedule in the SEC. If not one of the toughest in the nation. Just saying.
@@Travis-vl7sgyou are correct. Florida has the toughest schedule of all period out of every single team or school. It is not even close.
It would be crazy for a usc-oregon b10 championship game in there first season
LMAO
It would be crazy if USC was able to even make it
@RyanMcKinney-ge9uz if they have a defense they have a chance but it's not likely
@@christiankennedy142 likely for Oregon. I think they will be a good challenger for the B10. USC on the other than hand, I’m not sure if they can beat Wisconsin, Penn state or Michigan. USC for their sake better figure out the defense. I want them to compete and make the B10 stronger.
I can see see a world where Oregon and Ohio state play 2 or 3 games this season. But it's still early

The content quality of this program has really gone down. And, it’s probably not your fault Andy. You should definitely fire your producer.
SMU could be an acc sleeper
Please tell me you are joking? They will win 6-8 games and be nowhere close to a playoff spot.
They should just cancel conference champ games they are meaningless now as both teams will be in the playoff regardless
the winner get a week off and hosts their first game, and coaches get a bonus for winning
Don't try that again, it's embarrassing
The way Yall religiously slurp up A&M and Clemson is disgusting
Syracuse 12-0
Hell nope 8-4 🤦♂️🤔🤔🤔
@@Coldplay251or 7-5 but not 12-0. Maybe 9-3 if everything goes right but 7-5 or 8-4 is reasonable and 6-6 acceptable. Given the schedule if not bowl eligible, then they hired the wrong coach or wrong recruiting staff and head coach coordinators and assistants were bad hires.
@@michaelwall3393 I root for Kyle McCord tho 🤣😂🤣
Definitely 14-0 now you will be shocked 😳 🥶🍊
@@CUSE315SYR hell nope I know 5 team's can beat Syracuse this season
Georgia beat FSU 4th stringers. How does Georgia continue get beat by a lowly 2-lost Bama. Dogs are pathetic !!!
Miami and tenn on this list is comical
The Gators are about 4th or 5th in the state of Florida
