Kudos to you for making an excellent video. I just fell in love with these babies years ago and I finally went full steam ahead into the world of reborns after I had my son in 2019. He is autistic and loves role play with the dolls and learning how to be gentle. I bought a heavy and expensive one that was received so misshapen that I struggled to bond with it. I even thought about gifting her but after seeing your awesome video, I feel confident that I can fix her to my liking. Your passion for this art shows!! You gotta new subbie ❤ God bless !

Thank you so much! I’m 13 and have wanted a reborn since I was around 8. I obviously haven’t had much money, but I’ve save for a while now, and just ordered my first kit! I can’t wait to paint them! (Not sure if I want them to be a girl or boy yet, I’ll need to paint it first and see what clicks)

Hello! Great video! I was planning on doing this to my Joseph 3 month asleep to loosen her limbs a bit but her zip ties are tucked, what should I do!
You’ll need to cut the old zip ties and replace with new ones. Once the ties are tightened they cannot be loosened.

Sounds like it’s just the doll joint. That allows the cloth boys arms and legs to love. So the cloth body would be called a jointed cloth body.

It just depends on your budget. Blank doll kits range from $25 and up. It also depends on what you like. I’m not talking about the ones on eBay, I order mine directly from a reborn kit company. There are several. Just Google reborn baby doll kit. I also have silicone baby blank kits that will be available soon ☺️

Hey! I would recommend starting with a vinyl kit from OriginalDollsAndKits on Etsy and acrylic paint from Walmart that is skin color, I mix brown white and yellow to make skin! This is very well for budget.
