Also finding out that Matthew was hinted to be Bisexual made me feel sooo happy and intrigued cause you don't see much LGBT representation in books and I swear to God James and Christopher are the only straight ones in the Merry Thieves cause I see Thomas having a thing for Alastair.😌😏 And Matthew being Bi. Also saying that Herondales love only once. James has always been in love with Cordelia and he doesn't realise it due to Grace and the bracelet cause in the Days Past it was subtly hinted to.💕💕😌😌

I have a theory- ok so in clockwork angel Charolette tells Tessa that if performed properly a ceremonial marriage can allow someone to control another person. What if Grace married James and that bracelet acted as a wedding ring giving her the power to control him when he wears it, and we all know that memories can be scrubbed- it happened to clary in TMI and Magnus in the red scrolls of magic

I can feel you! After I end the book I was distroyed... I had the same feeling about. My problem was, I'm from Switzerland and here nobody had read the book yet. I have nobody in real life to speak about. So I get my family on nerves because I NEED to talk about!!! 😭

Loved your review! I also don't see how people can ship Cordelia and Matthew, because James and Cordelia are endgame.
I also loved the friendship between Cordelia and Lucie and between Cordelia and Anna!
The whole be the bully or be bullied thing I felt was because Alastair is gay so he felt pressured to shield himself from the world so he lashed out otherwise he'd basically be ostracized. I did this when I was like in middle school so I kind of get it but that doesn't necessarily excuse it.
+ the fact that his father was an alcoholic and Alastair didn't want ppl to know that,, so he preferred tell other ppl's secret so his own weren't found/expose I guess? and in terms of excuse its all up to the victim

Your reaction to Grace is such a mood hahah I completely agree with what you’re saying though! I find her so annoying, but I’m sure she has a very interesting backstory that we have yet to learn. And I really hope Matthew doesn’t love Cordelia either, cause I cannot deal with him being more broken than he already is 😭 He’s too pure for this world. Also, I refuse to read this trilogy with any one of these lovely characters being killed off. It’ll break my heart as much as Clockwork Princess did. I also think James will be able to refuse Grace’s compelling because of that scene between them on the balcony in the end when he fought off answering her question! And I think Matthew will understand what’s going on and do something about it. Very intrigued to see what’s going to happen though
I think Grace can be redeemed but for now...she's annoying😂 I can't wait to see how Cassie breaks my heart in the next book
