This is the story of how our cabin came to be my home here on Svalbard. We bought it about 3 years ago and finished the renovations this year to make it our dream home in the arctic. I hope you enjoy the video!

I would live wherever Grim likes to live. Grim is used to Svalbard, the weather and landscape there. I would stay where Grim is the happiest!
My dog is spoiled too. He won’t eat unless you sprinkle “real meat”. Love 💕 Grim 💕 and love the beautiful scenery. I love how much you love your fur baby.

A couple ideas for the little empty space to the right of the tv; simple option is to put a hook on the wall inside the space to tie back the curtain from the window, pulling the fabric into the space makes it look like it served a purpose. Useful option would be to get fabric that matches the curtains and attach it to the underside of the box shelf at the top making a storage space. Decorative option would be to get a cute coat rack stand and hang blankets for snuggling on the sofa from it. Love the cosy vibes.

Growing up in Alaska we put a small red flashing light (light for a bike) on our dogs collar when she went out in the night.

@@lizvickers7156 Cecelia uses Epidemic Sound, which are good for royalty free music for vloggers. Quite a few CZcamsrs use them. They are a subscription service, and I've found some of the artists with music there also post to CZcams, SoundCloud, etc.
I agree it would be great to know which artists / tracks Cecelia uses, as it is great music.
I can't be sure, is backing track from 0:00 to 2:17 the same as 4:07 to 6:29 played adagio with emphasis on different instruments?

The joys of online shopping - nothing is EVER the size you think it is LOL. I would love to live somewhere like Svalbard but agh...health issues. Norway is my second home, so it would have been somewhat familiar. I am thinking of booking a trip though.Hubby hates my holiday destinations...I'm always dragging him to cold places LOL.
The cabin addition and makeover is absolutely gorgeous. I especially love the open concept kitchen with wide angle windows looking out to the sea. What a great view! Love love it!!!

I have just recently bought my first condo, the required changes are pretty cosmetic, but I am quite overwhelmed with the process. The TV room is so cozy now; it felt kind of cold before. I think it's the muted colors with the textures of the fabrics and furniture. And your kitchen; let me such say I am pea green with envy. It is gorgeous. This is one of those rare times I regret being older because if I was still in my youth I could so see myself living there.
