It’s nice to see Jean Storm and Rogue actually being used for their flight powers , that’s something that show writers forget to use is their power of flight but in this jet and the Jet scene in the first episode was a pretty cool to see
In my theory her body is made of atomic plasma from her mutan genetic. I think wouldn't happen to her, but how could she survive without oxygen in the outer space. Is she could live by absorbing energy plasma or something. Her old ver could live in the digital world like video games without food or water. This might help us know better about her.
The reason I love the Xmen is because you can see they're trained as a real fighting unit. That and the combo of their awesome powers make them unstoppable. Also its nice to have someone like Professor X in your corner that can just destroy someone's mind with a thought 😂

It was only Jonathan Hickman who nerfed her so that the other newbie omegas could at least be closer to her in power level. Read the issue where Jean fights Nightmare and the X-Men go against Cordiceps Jones. Both clearly state Jean's telekinesis as omega-level. If we're going by the 90s depiction, Storm shouldn't be omega as she only became in Hickman's reboot. Jean (and Bobby) were the only true omegas then. Beau DeMayo had to make this a Magneto moment so he needed to nerf Jean. Don't you find it convenient that Phoenix just appeared and then disappeared just like that? It's practically the same thing in the Summers Family scene. Jean could have levitated all three of them and flew, but she had to be stupid in the way she used her powers in order for that final superhero pose to happen.

Even before the Hickman era yes Jean has shown great feats of her TK abilities but a lot of the times at least from what I remember is usually a precursor before the phoenix makes an appearance. Even in the episode where she tapped into the Phoenix force showed the capabilities of her TK on the molecular level whereas her telepathy allowed her to make contact with Scott while he was on asteroid m and she was on earth before and after the phoenix which give me more credence to her telepathy being omega vs tk. Same goes for when she linked her and Scott to talk to cable before the last battle. Just my opinions comparing the show and comic classifications of Omega level mutant

If they always jumped in the X-Men or rather any Hero wouldn't have any story to go on. Also if you introduce that question then you must also ask where are all the other Villains? By doing so you are ensuring that Old Man Logan is a canon event, and the Heroes always lose eventually since there are more Villains then Heroes. So just enjoy the cameos for what they are cameos, and don't think too deep into it.
