I really like how you did 2:11 . I’ve heard a few different chiptune covers of this song, but the voice part is almost always just 1 flat note repeating, where your cover actually seems close to conveying how a voice sounds singing that part.

I do everything in GarageBand using custom instruments! I usually just listen to the song for a few hours and then go measure by measure, writing and carefully tweaking the music until I think it sounds good

@@grayanddevpdx yeah I figured out original songs don’t really do great, even though a lot of the time they sound pretty good. Maybe someday I’ll be doing them again but for now I’m content with this
