    I played the 4th movement from 1-104 in a mock live audition recently and blundered this cross string section. When nerves kick in, it sounds like mush. It has to sound off string yet controlled, but not legato like what the student is doing. I think it's way harder than the Schumann scherzo and midsummer night dream.
