With the latest update of Sea of Thieves you are able to play Davy Jones's organ in Flying Dutchman.
But It's actually hard because you have to pick the keys with A D keys one by one so I cut the spaces between the keys to smoother playing. - Hry
Rare should add an organ to all the ships in game. It'd be sweet having someone play some groovy tunes while sailing through a storm
then they have to have a feature to forbid other people to play like the option to imprison someone. if not the most people could just spam around
@@yoda6059 If it's on the same audio channel as shanties you can just muted them. I mean they can spam shanties already (like repeat the first second of "Ride of the Valkyries" with the concertina all day long)

I mean, Davo Jones got 1 hand that's a crab claw. He needs those face tentacles to act as his other hand when he cant be dextrous with a claw.
With enough practice he could use the crab claw like they are 2 fingers + like a dozen tentacles so 5 + 2 + 12 = 19 meaning theoretically he has just under double the useable “fingers”

That is partically due to licensing and copyright reasons.
Any music licensing can expire and the copyright holder might/might not allow it to be used again.
It's a very complicated process.

Same thing happened with Dishonored 2 when they had temporary rights to Gold Dust Woman. It expired 5yrs later and it's no longer part of the OST.

We need some more menacing instruments in Sea of Thieves. Pipe organs, war drums, you name it. It's definitely fun messing about with the shanties, but sometimes you really just want to intimidate someone when you're rolling up on them. For example if you've been chasing them for a little while and when you're finally getting closer you could play those drums, or when you snuck around the island and are right behind them.
Start playing the jaws theme right as you're about to ram them

It's awesome. I just wanna say sometin about commands who thinks or wrote 'It would be awesome if it wasnt edited'' guys it's impossible to play on the game, you cant do it. He did great job to show us Davy Jones's Theme. That's it.
Thanks for letting me know. I was thinking about playing this game and being able to play the organ for real would've been great.
Maybe you can programm an app which would put inputs fast enough to do it?
@@shroomer3867 likely not; the organ has something of a "cooldown" feature (horrible way to phrase it, but it's the best I can do rn) that prevents misinputs

This season had a HIGE missed opportunity to add some POTC songs to the in-game instruments! Pirates Life for me, the Main theme, Davy Jones theme, the list goes on!
Yeah, copyright issues unfortunately, however, you can get "pirate's life for me" on your instruments as a playable shanty by getting 100% completion (unlocking all commendations) on all 5 pirate's life tall tales.
@@lemonequation5545 I don't believe it had anything to do with copyright issues unless you have a source that explicitly says that because they use these themes in the tall tales several times so why would Rare not be allowed to add them as shanties? I believe the answer to all of that is really just that it takes resources like time and money to get all of that set up, it would be cool but I think Rare didn't think it was worth it enough to release them as shanties.
Edit: Seeing some other comments, I may be wrong on that but it would be quite strange if that were the reason because a pirates life for me is Disney property so unless that one just costed less than the other themes I don't see a reason why not apart from what I already mentioned.

Who ever said it was the only tall tales we will have regarding PotC ? :) you guys act like it’s over... you think they signed with Disney for only 5 tales ? If they see it’s getting us hyped very much they probably will do a sequel or something.

it's not really all that possible because you're limited to a single octave, the part that comes right after this is an octave above so unless he played the entire thing on one octave and changing the key its played in to accommodate for completely impossible bits (which would make it sound awful), there is no way you could play the entire thing.
I’d love to be playing this while attacking a galleon in the storm if they add the Flying Dutchman as ship type only pirate legends can start on.

Because having things exclusive to the elite few is actually a good thing in gaming which is severely lacking nowadays. Having "that one guy who has the insanely rare powerful item" is a cool experience and creates entire communities and feuds around it.
Imagine sailing your little ship and hearing Davy Jones theme song in the distance as some group of pros cruise up on the flying dutchman; the only people in the entire game who have earned the right to use it. Shit-your-pants moments like that are awesome.

Imagine if you had a decor space in the ship that could house large instruments like drums, war horns, organs, cellos, marimbas, etc. and then play war music and even orchestrate warsongs with other ships nearby.

They should have an Easter egg where playing Davy Jones' theme immediately changes the weather to a storm and summons a Kraken that attacks every other vessel on the map.
It was a bit quick, but I still give you a gold star⭐
You can slow the video down on CZcams to make it slower by changing the playback speed from normal (click on the 3 dots in the top right of the video and you should see it)
It's extremely hard to play, you have to select the key with your thumbstick and play it by pressing A (on xbox)
So it's nearly impossible to get it clean.
