Escalator etiquette in Singapore is to stand to the left, overtake on the right. The assumption is that since most people are right-handed, they would maybe require the use of the handrail belt to help them up/down the escalator.
Different temples have different practices when it comes to taking photos or videos. In earlier years i did manage to take photos in that temple you went at Waterloo street. Later they employed security guards to stop this. Traditionally, taking photos and videos in a temple tend to be frowned upon.

Visit the national park which is a 130 million years rainforest and Cameron Highland which is well know for its tea plantation, strawberry farm, butterfly park , flower garden , jungle trekking and more. Cameron Highlands was discovered in 1885 by Sir William Cameron an english surveyor.. Stroll along the city and you will see trees and vegetation b y the side of the roads. If you travel by bas to other states along the highway you will see rainforest or jungle as you wih to call it and the areas are massive.
