This song is really more than a song to me. It pulled me through as I dealt with depression, remembering that even in my lowest, God is there with me.

Im so grateful that Matt's tallent and faith in his songs are so genuine and help us to express what we also feel about our God.
I heard this song after my son entered Teen Challenge, a year long christian rehab. Thru the years of his struggle with drugs and this year of trusting God for our son's deliverance, healing and a renewed relationship with Christ, God has been faithful - never once did he leave us on our own. Thank you for the song. It's an anthem in my life now.
Heard this song after major surgery awaiting chemo treatment....in the hospital room from my lap top back in June came these amazing words of confirmation that we are Never Alone....Praise God and thank you Matt for this song that God gave to you back in that empty house.

Thanks Matt... Even before watching this interview I identified with this song and just hearing the story behind it I feel even more connected to it. My father also passed on when I was five and looking back 28 years later I know that God IS truly the Father of the Fatherless. He IS faithful.
