NS 93X Runs Southern Style In The Rain - Latrobe PA

It was a rainy morning in Latrobe, PA on Norfolk Southern's Pittsburgh Line. An eastbound GREX ballast train running as NS 93X is seen blasting through the rain. The engine is running long-hood forward, the same way the old Southern Railroad (as well as early NS) liked to operate their engines. It's a bit rare to see trains run long hood forward out this way!
