    This is a detailed comparison between two devices I like that are in very similar price point.
    These two amazing speakers will definitely be your bang for a buck.
    But which one you choose mostly will fit how you listen music,
    and what you expect from your speakers.

    Very nice review! Your “close call” between the two aligns with other reviewers. It just comes down to personal preference and listening habits.
    I have an Arcam SA20 driving a pair of KLH Model 3’s and I think the Arcam could give the KEF’s the power they want. Do you agree? Thank you again, nicely done!

      Just a note for your viewers: the KLH Model 3’s are in this same class and they are amazing. Some reviewers have criticized them unfairly in my opinion!

      If something ARCAM is known for, that is it`s power. It is one of the rare class G amplifiers, that have a lot of girt and power. SA20 is a great choice for KEF LS50 Meta!

      There are unfortunately brands and companies that have flown under my radar, and one of those are KLH. I see that Model 3 looks amazing, hopefully when I grow more, I will have a chance to test them.

    Very informative review. Thank you for your effort. Much appreciated. Like you, I own and enjoy my LS50 METAs, Q350 and Q150, along with Magnepan LRS+ speakers. Did you mention which model of amplifiers you were using with these speakers? And which one was the best match with your METAs? Thx.

      Hey thanks for watching my videos. Much appreciated. I don't have the arsenal of amps always present at my side. But i tested this speakers with 5 amps. Where the best combination was with music fidelity m3si. Cxa81 cambridge audio was also good.

    Hi! What amp would you recommend for the Lumina II? You said something neutral but I'm finding hard to tell which one could it be. Thanks

    • @HIFIDaydreaming
      @HIFIDaydreaming  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Hi and thanks for watching my videos. As i said I always recommend more neutral balanced amps. I don't know your budget, but something like audiolab 6000/7000 could work great. Denon 900/1700, or roksan k3. I also really enjoyed it on music fidelity m3si. The one amp i didn't try it on but think should do fine is Yamaha a-s 801/1200. Hope this works, and I didn't overwhelm you with choices. If you have any more questions do ask.

    I know, it’s a completely different price range but how are the KEF MS50 compared to the Focal Chora 806, which you already recommended?

    • @HIFIDaydreaming
      @HIFIDaydreaming  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Well they are similar in sonic characteristics. Both airy, clean and transparent. But Meta does everything better, it is hard to compare them in this regard. But Chora 806 can come closely in two aspects, first being Imaging. I think both of them do a great job in presenting a vocalist in center of your listening area unobtrusive. Secondly they throw great soundstage, but Meta does have more depth and refinement. Chora 806 is an excellent alterative to Meta if you are on a tight budget. it is roughly 800-900 euros cheaper. Hope this helps.

    I heard the KEF LS50 Wireless II and LS60 Meta in a showroom. I think that they're both very good for the money. The LS50 speakers are inherently detailed, clear and exciting without much to complain about. But I wouldn't call the LS50 natural, smooth or warm. I would even say that the LS50 is slightly aggressive and artificial. And this is a good thing if you listen to electronic music or rock. But vocal music with acoustic instruments won't be as intimate. I have Closer Acoustics OGY speakers as reference. The OGY are more transparent and clear than LS50 for the same money but less exciting.

    • @HIFIDaydreaming
      @HIFIDaydreaming  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Hmmm that is so interesting, what amp is being used to drive those speakers(one small note I have not tried LS50 Wireless II or LS60 myself I don`t know how much does sound differs from LS50 Meta)? That is why I like to hear other peoples opinion, as it broadens the discussion and view of certain speakers. As OGY you already recommended it to me once. But they are small brand, as such where I live it is impossible to do any kind of sound demoing. Maybe in future, our paths will cross, but for now it have to go just in my wish list. :)

    • @user-xg6zz8qs3q
      @user-xg6zz8qs3q Před 7 měsíci +1

      @@HIFIDaydreaming Hi! Anything can power OGY. But the cheaper class D amps will make the sound harsh, low on bass and less airy. I have a Creek 4240 for now (it was the best amp I could find for cheap on the used market). Generally speaking, any AB amplifier will power the OGY fine. But the OGY improves with the quality of your amp. The LS60 and LS50 Wireless II sounded very similar to me. The only difference is that the bass is so much better on the LS60 (but on acoustic tracks it hardly matters). I don't think that the KEF LS50 Wireless II has the meta material, but the KEF LS60 does. Anyways, the differences are so minor.

      man these speakers do not hold their values, I would get the klipsch rp600m ii for cheap, the imaging is just as good and packs more bass
