- Have you ever wondered who would win a fight between these monsters? In this video you will see an epic fight between DoomSlayer and Master Chief, I also added the Doom OST for a better effect.
Since many comments on my previous video asked to swap the characters, in this video Doomslayer replaces Kratos and Master Chief replaces Baldur, opposite to the previous video.

As a hardcore halo fan, Iâm okay with the slayer winning. It just makes sense. The Chief is still supposed to be grounded in a bit of reality, the slayer is a straight up power fantasy. The tone difference between "Spartans never die, theyâre just MIA" and "rip and tear until it is done" is quite palpable.
I'm still waiting for DB to make a rematch.

As awesome as it is, Doom Slayer isn't a Microsoft character. Doom created by Id software in 1993 way before being bought by Bethesda then Microsoft. he was just cheaply bought out and they claim to own him

Ever since Cortana left Chief, he's been on drunken spiral dealing with anger issues. As much as Doomguy used to respect his Stepchildren's father, he can't help but feel anger on Chief for becoming a deadbeat dad.

The non-canonical part here is that it would never take Doomguy this long to dispatch the Chief. Chief is a badass for sure, but Doomguy ripped and tore until Hell was done. And then he went back for more.

It actually makes sense the choices of who is who, I mean, Chief is a supersoldier, the peak of what a human can aspire to be, so darn lucky that he can't die and has arrived to the conclusion that he "may die when he chooses to do it" while the Slayer is the definition of a 3 year old nephew saying "everything you say plus 1" because he was badass already but when he got into the divinity machine he was turned into someone with the power of the Creator, turned into a quite literal god that enjoys shooting at demons.
True, although I'd still reckon that he's smarter than the 3-year-old nephew, cause it's more the equivalent of one being an absolute beast at the video game even before starting to make things up.

@@ailospjellok7475 I thought that was a writer's definition of Superman, but you're right about the Saitama comparison in something, they are so utterly powerful that they look for a way to be entertained and that is why the Slayer doesn't just explode every demon with his fists but rather uses guns to make it cooler and more fun to him

One of the fun things about this fight is that it is unquestionably Doom Slayer, but not necessarily Master Chief. Many of the Spartans wore the same kind of armor, which could be why he is running his mouth so much more than Chief would. However Kratos' tone of voice and few words spoken does make a fitting Doom Slayer.
I'm also amused by the Norse God in the Mjolnir armor, as well as the Spartan 2 fighting a Greek Spartan. Well done.

Better because the dialogue didn't repeat the whole time, idc about power scale accuracy. Both fights are great, the dialogue and music just makes this better.
I mean, even the power scale is better. The Slayer is just on a completely different level that Master Chief.

Ya, replacing the dialogue with Master Chief and Doom Slayer's voice is neat in concept, but I don't think they have ever said anything that fits this scene well so it ends up felling really awkward.
Edit: but I do kind of prefer the roles in the previous one since Chief is taller.

Damn depression really hit the chief hard, canât feel any more pain after Halo 4 and 5. Had to bother old man doom guy just as an excuse to end himself. Glad he was able to put himself back together in time for Infinite.

@@ratlosmappy on the demons that seems to become more and more of an occurrence as the demons to him have become similar that he never really uses his full power to the extent, there was even cut content that he can use telekinesis and squash demons.
It seems that doomguy has learned to master himself from his time with argenta and battling hell for eons and to prevent another containment due to his unchecked rage and would only go off if needed, or if he engulfs one of hell's berserk orbs.
He holds back so he can make the demons suffer lol.

@@noteansylvan6051 spartans are trained in hand to hand fighting and commonly end up in melee with both the sangheili and jiralhanae. They can very much handle melee combat. They could easily go into combat with nothing more than a knife and still perform, its just less efficient and since most of their enemies use guns, its wasteful and increases the chances of them getting injured or killed.

As an indifferent owner of all platforms, and an old man who played the original Doom as a kid and Halo as a teenager, this made me smile. The lines even made perfect sense. Doom guy for life though, Master Chief isn't angry enough to kill the first of his kind.

If we look at this proportionally and say that doom guy is his original size (6'8) that should make master chief a bit over 6'2 but if we look at it the other way and say that master chief is his original size (7'2 with armor on) then that should make the doom guy around 7'8

@@iSeeCorpses From all the Doomslayer lore that I looked through he cannot be harmed by any element and is immune to all mind attacks, he also a will that never breaks and he will not stop to complete his goal. Along with being proven very smart and able master any weapon he comes across. He has telekinesis, being able to touch souls, and being absurdly strong. Another one of the powers he had is the ability to absorb the strength of those he kills and he has been fighting in hell for eons{billions of years}. He doesn't have to eat sleep or rest. His suit is almost unbreakable and his body is even stronger.
If there is any ability that you think could make The Last Dragonborn win please tell me I don't know much about the lore.

All the last dragonborn could do Is Like i said those hax. They Have no cooldown nor any backlash. So dragonborn could do it forever. He Had A Disarm SHOUT that Can Disarm Any weapons The Opponent is Holding. For example The opponent had A Sword he equipped and a dagger In his back If a dragonborn used Disarm shout all of his weapon would be Disarm. Doesn't matter if his Holding it or not.
That means it May Have Been annoying to doomslayer. But well doomslayer is strong af And He doesn't need any Guns.
The next thing Is soul tear. This one As the name Suggest Teared Soul. Doesn't matter how strong you are it tears your own very soul. A Pretty op abililty considering it doesn't have a cooldown. Theres also a whirlwind sprint. A good Shout. It's like A Teleport But it isn't. It Just Make you Run so fast. But its hella fast In lore Dragonborn could go to any crountry or continent using this.
Also The Unrelenting force. Well it might not work on doomslayer. But it Might pushed Him off. Since unrelenting force Max power Can destroy Mountains with ease.

Your voice bends the very stones to your will. As it gains power, animals, people, and even dragons must do your bidding

@@iSeeCorpses The Doomslayer is pretty simple in my mind, his main ability's are just being mind-blowingly strong, really fast, super smart, having a indomitable will, and not really being affected by anything. Of course also with being immortal. I think the soul tear ability might work, but from what I've read it can kill almost any mortal creature, the Doomslayer is not mortal but all in all this battle ends in a tie only if the Dragonborn cant kill the Doomslayer and the Doomslayer cant kill the Dragonborn instantly. Unless attacks on the soul still work the Become Ethereal Shout is a end all be all tie. Thank you for bring me a interesting character to pick at and learn a bit more about.
There are a lot other characters that can fight DS like Ashura, Spawn and etc.
I personally only have one problem with this fight. To be as lore accurate as possible the roles would have to be reversed since Master Chief is taller than Doom Slayer.

Well . . . it sort of feels lore accurate since the Slayer just absolutely OOZES power, making him feel a lot bigger than he really is. Plus the cutscenes in Eternal show him completely towering over average human beings.
If you think about it even the fighting styles used is reflective about the characters chief with the more tactical and quick jabs and slayer having fast heavy berserker strikes

The Slayer could have destroyed, accorded to lore, his universe and all of the others just by existing. No matter how powerful the master chief is, the slayer can annihlate him by a snap of his fingers. I feel like people are fighting about who is more powerful than the others just because they look similar. Also, the Praetor Armor is considered impenetrable litteraly, but it's specified that the Doom Slayer body is even stronger. He's basically invincible, more powerful than any other character of any other universe. But it's dumb to compare an universe to another
Idk about any other universe, once you throw him up against someone like Spawn the power scaling gets even more broken.

Even though Masterchief is my favorite videogame character of all time, I gotta admit that that the slayer has more power, most conclusion would say that after a brutal fight between the two of them, there can only be scenarios of an even fight or the Slayer having a close win
If we're talking about before doom 2016 and eternal when he was still doom guy then they are pretty even, the chief would probably win to be honest, but this is the doom slayer, he is far stronger than when he was doom guy. I don't think the chief would give him any difficulty

They don't. Chief is voiced by Steven Downes while Doomslayer is voiced by Matthew Waterson and Jason Kelly. Baulder's voice just isn't chief and Kratos speaks way too much for doomslayer while being far too raspy.
@@armadussteel2489 I wasn't being EXACT with my comment, it's just that In terms of a potential what-if in this potential scenario, having a thinner and shorter Chief using Baldur's voice worked really well with the very buff Doom Slayer using Kratos' voice

Honestly, even as a hardcore Halo fan, this was pretty funny and awesome to watch. Both DoomGuy and Chief have their unnatural levels of BS survivability, Doomguy basically having godlike power fantasy immortality and Chief just basically being the 'chosen' one who will never die because it was never in the Librarian's plan. These two, should they ever find a reason to fight, would literally be fighting for an eternity because neither of them would die. Though Chief is a bit more grounded in a thin layer of reality, 343 continuing the series has basically told us that Chief is probably immortal (we're still working out the finer details of whatever the Librarian did to him) and the Doomguy will forever exist so long as there are Demons to slay.
Though, Chief being so short compared to someone who is technically shorter than him (DG is apparently 6'8", not sure if in or out of armor, Chief is 6'8" out of armor, so they should roughly be the same size with only a slight difference) is pretty funny to see. (Though, Chief's height may be subject to change given that Spartans might continue to grow as they get older and older.)

@@casematecardinal He is still correct with "Chief is 2 inches taller" remark. Doomguy out of his Praetor Suit is 6'6" while Chief out of his MJOLNIR is 6'8".
It's only when they're in armor (6'8" for Doomguy and 7'4" for Chief) that there's a more noticeable difference in height.
