@@NikiVaghela Yes or should I just move on thinking that. I almost got the 3XL but the 2XL has the same screen quality. I know it doesn’t update anymore but I want that screen resolution 😂
@@LaVerite124 Ohhh haha, I mean it's still a good phone with my light usage - I do find it runs out of RAM often, sometimes apps take a bit to load & the display has "black crush" which makes night time viewing bad - but I've had it a few years now so I'm planning on replacing it maybe this year. But tbh I'm not sure I'd recommend it for someone's new phone in 2021 (it'll be 4 years old this year). Like the 4a 5G will get 3 more years of updates (+ monthly security updates), it has more efficient display/processor & extra RAM. BUT... It also depends on your usage, what features you want (water resistance, headphone jack etc), budget & how long you keep your phones haha :)
You left out that the 2 xl could be had with 128gb storage. I own one. Factory unlocked. The custom rom scene for the 2 xl is awesome as well. Keeping mine. Still very snappy, parts are cheap except for displays. Just replaced mine tonight. They are also easy to work on.
Hey Allen, thank you for your wonderful assessment of the Google Pixel 2 XL compared to the Pixel 4a 5G. I'm not especially tech savvy... I'm currently using a handset running on Android 7... yikes! I recently found a brand spanking new (original and sealed) Pixel 2 XL for ~260 $AUD. Should I snap it up or do you think it's too risky from a security vantage?
Hey man... 6 months later I see your post. I hope you snagged that 2XL. Even in 2022 it's a GREAT phone. Still extremely fast and snappy, lag free and premium. I am still using my panda white 2XL and feel NO NEED to upgrade until I see a pixel that releases that truly changes the game.
Thinking about getting a 4a 5G (from Pixel 2). But honestly, the design of the phone is a bit of a sticking point for me. It's so bland that it takes away some of my interest in having one. Good review though.
Great video! Tbh the only reasons I'd wanna upgrade would be the software updates & extra RAM (but my 2XL still works fine for now)
Good to know. I’m getting one next week
@@LaVerite124 You're getting a 2XL? 😃

Loved the music in the background, cheers!

I'd pay you to replace my charging port.
Still rocking my pixel 2 xl. I won't be upgrading for a long while. I do however have 2 pixel 3a xl coming in soon. White and purple-ish
4a 5g user here too and im loving it!!
This is the exact upgrade I just did on Black Friday, and I agree that it was a perfect upgrade.
Thanks for the review
Also upgraded from 2xl at full price but still happy with the upgrade
Cheers! You've got a sub 🙌
Nice video

@@nicholas.alan85 hey Nick, thanks for writing. Well, I actually found a brand new (sealed and in the box) Google Pixel 3 and I love it!!

A 300mah difference in battery size isn't that much.
That's true, but I guess that alongside the more efficient processor and lower resolution display help with battery performance
