Yeah this was probably the best soundtrack ngl, the game was great for its time but I played the game a few days ago and jesus christ the passing sucked, shooting was amazing though, loved scoring 30 Yard bangers

Fifa 13 was the first time I did a Manager Mode and I never had a clue what I was doing so I chose Arsenal and to this day I still have the save file. This era in general though, playing pro clubs with mates and then jumping on Black Ops 2 Multiplayer and ending the night on some zombies just to go to school the next day and talk about how amazing the night before was with the very people you played with? Fucking loved it.

FIFA 13 is the game that made me an Arsenal fan and Iâve been a through and through supporter ever since 11 years later! Will forever thank this game for helping me pick my club. Theres genuinely a chance we could win the league and the CL and I am here for it!

The cutscene before the match almost made me cry. The design was so beautiful.
Agreed the Menus are so dark I need some light colours again.
This fifa was my introduction to ultimate team and I was 13 as well. Procrastinating and hiding from my parents to play the game at night. Skills, longshots, brasilvers, bronze beasts...they were so OP you could win division 1 easily with a full silver team. My favourite fifa ever.

FIFA 09 to 14 was the peak of FIFA games! All new FIFA games totally lacks the epic gameplay of the old ones! And graphics of PES 15 to 19 are totally better than all FIFA from 15 to 22 included... Love the old FIFA games!

I remember this Career mode so much, but it's not because fifa 13, it's because fifa 15 legacy edition, on ps vita, it was my 1st fifa on a console, and I spent so much time on this game, played it until 2018

I played FIFA 13 for years long after its life cycle ended. Career mode for it was amazing and I enjoyed that you could swap players for transfers. Helped me bag so many decent players for less than what they were worth.
Plus getting youth players was easy enough and was worth investing time in them.
I was like 6 years od playing this game with my older brothers, best childhood ever.
I skipped fifa 14, 15, and 16 just to play 13 and it was worth it

I actually remember whenever it was raining me and my old friend would go into my house and spend countless hours on my old xbox 360 just playing career mode or player career in fifa 13 makes me feel old to think that I was 10 years old when this game was out now I'm 20

I bought this game for my ps3 after losing it a few years ago.
I can spend hours listening to the banger soundtrack as I do an arsenal career mode in this game. Itâs awesome. I own fifa 22 for ps5, and the career mode isnât even playable.

First fifa was 09 and when I got fifa 13 on a ps3 back in 2013 I fell in love I loved it. the soundtrack and the gameplay I loved it all and where I found all of CZcamsrs like ski, matthdgamer and Rossihd and fifa playa and I would watch fifa 13 related to copa90 I loved this fifa honestly !!!! All thanks to my cousin for letting me play it on his Xbox and ps3
I Have to state the most obvious thing! Even though this was a football console game. The most amazing thing in this game was not playing the games. The most amazing thing was taking or accepting a bid, then you had to play a game, and after the game you would perhaps get a answer on the bid you made. OR even when you had an offer pending, you could simulate the calendar just to get to the deal faster!

Just turning the 360 on and hearing the loading sound is enough for me,let alone Fifa 13 and 14. Fifa 15 was my favourite though. I remember I would play this game until bo2 came out and I ended up buying Fifa 14 alongside bo2. Fifa 13 was what got me into Fifa. Just so sad Fifa 19 wasnât it, havenât played the game since.

Golden age of FIFA was from 11-15 and then the game died (But 17 was fire tho) until FIFA 22 came which i think is best fifa since 15
Itâs because so many features have been removed from the game. All those little finishing touches. The start up is bland now. Thereâs no practice arena. Career mode has been completely killed. Creation centre is gone.
In career mode in the past you could control backroom staff, stadium facilities, sponsorship, team talks, pressers, even advise the club on things like who to send to see a sick kid in the hospital, and whether to punish a player for skipping training.
In creation centre you could create your own club, players and leagues, you could put your hometown into the game, you could create any scenario you wanted and play it through.
In Ultimate Team you had fitness cards, formation cards, getting the right chemistry in your team was a lot more important.
You could influence a players growth through gameplay, now itâs a lot more randomised and not really reflective of how well they play. You had real life form matches. You could edit players (everyone used to give players Fellaini style scouse-fros just for a laugh)
From 06-13 there were so many features that are just gone from the more modern games. Those features made it an immersive and well rounded playing experience. Now it feels more and more rushed out and like corners have been cut with the development every year.
The Journey was a brief little bonus but other than that there havenât been any new features introduced in nearly a decade now and they cut The Journey too.
Instead of changing the match engine slightly every year, EA should focus on bringing back at least a few old popular features because the game is lacking now. And make the UI more entertaining too, like it was touched on in this video just the cut scenes and the backgrounds with the stadiums and player shots make a lot of difference. Even the music had more of a unique âFIFAâ vibe and now itâs just regular chart music or radio music.
If they have to skip a year in order to make the next release as good as it should be, thatâs fine. Just put as much effort into the games as they used to and weâll come out with a better result.
Another thing I forgot to mention, earning points through gameplay to unlock historic kits, different boots and balls, trick/skillt combinations
This was the first fifa I actually owned and for that reason alone it'll always be the best fifa for me. Must've had atleast 200 hours playing this game

I actually never played 13, but I feel really nostalgic too for the FIFAs I did play (UCL 2006-2007, 09, 14 and 16-19, played 20 and 21 too but those are just too recent and tied to a bad period in my life). Looking at this video I am amazed how many bands that I know from other FIFA games and I thought made their appearance in FIFA much later were actually in this game. Two Door Cinema Club, Atlas Genius, Wretch 32, The Royal Concept etc. were already here? Also, that irl fixtures thing must have been amazing, none of the games I played had that feature, closest I got to that was the challenge mode in UCL 2006-2007 (please bring it back EA, it was so cool. I get playing the 99 final with Bruno Fernandes in the team wouldnt work, but just pick more recent moments or licence the teams, just anything to get that back). I thought they used to change the practice arena every year lol, turns out it was the same in 13 and 14. Also, skill games before offline matches are still a thing iirc, though for some reason it doesnt count your high score when you play them from there
Bro like this fifa is better that fifa 23 I love it and somehow I found it in my bedroom one day with the 360 I play it daily its so good.
My favorite one, I played until my disk literally broke from 2012 to 2019. Rest in peace. Had to buy fifa 19, what a let down lol.

YES! What you say about the fifa 13 career mode. It is the greatest! They should bring that back but with a bit more "finesse". The scouting thing they added after were you could not see player stats was pure bullshit. And also the training thing were you needed to lvl up your players in between every game, CANCER! Bring back a fifa 13 career mode but modern!
