Remembering Peter van Zeeland, who gave me the DVD 'Yanni Voices'. This was somewhere in 2009, a warm summers eve in which we listened to the DVD the first time. Astonishing, beautifull..... Too bad I can't thank you anymore. Rest in Peace, Peter.
Every time I hear her sing, I think, this is the best singer I have ever heard....every time. Why is Chloe not a household word?
This woman is absolutely stellar. Perhaps the greatest female performance for a single song I've ever seen. Chloe is a true superstar, and a perfect example of having remarkable technique and ability to express her emotions in her art. Her lyrics totally cut to the bone. That end portion is totally gut-wrenching. Chloe clearly knows what suffering is and is able to convey it to an audience. Just a remarkable and powerful performance, and I can't say enough great things about her.

Her career since this has been wonderful. Her catalog is full of various genres. She's probably my favorite epic singer, along with Loren Alrred.

I saw her on PBS or KCET network channel a year or two ago and I fell in love with her voice. She's an anomaly. Not may women have a truly great voice and be such a humanitarian.
that song is truly important to her. it's amazing to see an artist cry because they're sharing something, something that means so much to them, with the world. incredible performance by chloe.

@crappystruth @music32744 i totally agree with you. she could not have conveyed the emotion of the song any better than she did at this performance. her crying at the end showed that she was truly coming from experience. i remember the first time i watched this on PBS, i was brought to tears. i downloaded this song when Yanni put it out as a single for a while, and i loved the song from the get-go. but to see her cry while performing it brought a whole new perspective and feel to the song.

This song was recorded for the track "The Mermaid"? Is that suppose to be a soundtrack, 'cuz I just couldn't locate this song anywhere, not even on the original 'Yanni Voices' album.
your description is wrong. It is the song "prelude". The song that came before "Love Is All" in the "Tribute" concert.
