This is the morning of day one, 27 miles from north bend state park to Davisville, West Virginia. North Bend Rail Trail stretches 72 miles across north-central and western West Virginia. This wilderness path takes travelers across 36 bridges and through 11 tunnels and is part of the 5,500-mile American Discovery Trail, which spans the length of the United States.
The trail has become one of the most renowned recreational trails through the Appalachians and is known for its mountainous scenery and varied views of shaded tree canopies, rock cuts, and farmland. Highlights include a 2,297-foot tunnel and the "haunted" Silver Run Tunnel. This 3 Day e-bike trip was amazing!

I know, right there was some kid that died in one of these tunnels, which adds to the spookiness 😕
Today I was supposed to go from Harper's Ferry to Shephard's Towne. But my health is terrible today! Darn. So, the next best thing is riding along with you even though the trip was made some time ago. I looked up Cairo, West Virginia, and it is now on my bucket list. Words I need to hear but don't want to, e-bike turning into a bike! My COPD and my age of 79 work against me. I hope I meet you someday, and we can ride a few miles together! I'd like that.

A solar current & a motor controller I can figure it out from the name. Do youmlike your system. If so when you get a chance if you could tell me the name of the company they are and the capacity of each system. Where do you find the time to reply back to everyone. I know it takes a lot of time to make the videos & edit them. I really appreciate all you do. Thank you

To be honest the solar panels don’t work well in the south east all of the trails are covered with tree you need direct sunlight, and on top of that if there’s puddles or if it’s raining, it’s gets the solar panels completely filthy. The best scenario I have found is just bring two batteries because the more stuff you bring the more weight you’re carrying which will kill the battery fast.

I don't know if you have used paracord before but it is a must have for all things camping, riding and just about everything outdoors. Stay friend and keep up the great work.
I agree , I would stay in the woods for 9 to 15 day and have a base camp and would build chairs and tables to make my camp more comfortable plus I have stuff to do. I would do it with the inside of the para cord. That’s fun doing projects with Paracord .

@@FireandIceOutdoorGear Make sure you carry a spare in case you are not so lucky next time ... replace all your nuts with nylock nuts and put Loctite on the bolts

These gates you struggle to go around... what about unhitching the trailer and man-handling it underneath ... there looks to be enough height clearance

They have the gate closed so cars and atv and four wheelers do go through it
How do you fly a drone and pedal at the same time
I crash my drone a lot 🤦♂️ but I’ll put the drone we’re I want it to start and face it were it it clear of objects and start pedaling with one hand 🖐️ and turn the drone on its slows speed. Hope that helps thank you for watching Gregg.
