This woman, using pen and paper, put into words beliefs I have deeply held my entire life. She confirmed beliefs I had always held but felt judged for. She eloquently explains things I have always believed and felt deeply within my heart. She is truly a legend.

It's the first day of 2023. I've watched this video 3 times so far today. In the 5 years, since this brilliant speech, nothing meaningful has changed the status quo. I have much respect for Catherine Mackinnon. I do not know how much longer she will be able to be a force in the socio-political debate regarding prostitution, sex trafficking, and other issues pertaining to women's rights, and basic human rights. She is very important in the cause of justice. While she is still available, make 2023 a year of historic advancement regarding combating prostitution, and sex trafficking, which is simply a modality of prostitution worldwide.

You are the whack job. You have no right to a woman's body, you dipshit, assuming you are one of those male sociopaths who justify human rights abuse. In fifty years, thanks to the Nordic Model being employed in more and more countries, prostitution will be marginalized out of existence, and pornography will be next. There is not one thing you can do about it because the tide is turning away from this sick garbage that are prostitution and porn. Too bad, you stupid dude. Women aren't body parts for you to use and abuse.

Susan Nunes, I'm seriously confused by the fact I don't believe in telling anyone how to live their lives. Your body your choice, I'll go a step further legalization of prostitoun why cause again your body your choice. I firmly believe in letting people do as they will as long as it does not affect another human being determintally. You really need a reading comprhension lesson fuck-o

@@kittyroars5629 What other professions do you want your daughters not to engage in because it is dangerous? For me it's things like rock climbing, race car driver, cheer leading, acting and so on

Its been 8 years since this speech. Why is there no change in the status quo? The status quo is tolerated. There is very real harm being done to millions of people worldwide through the status quo. This is unacceptable! Period!

They were ones prostituted themselves and they had the chance to get out of having to being raped for money, to become a madam. The madam still serve the pimps! Just not by being raped any more. Can't really blame them. Being raped all day every day is the worst you can do to a woman, so if becoming a madam is the only way out, don't blame them for taking it!! Blame the johns and pimps, without them there wouldn't be this rape-industry!!
