Alex Rodriguez, born on July 27, 1975, in New York City, emerged as one of the most iconic figures in Major League Baseball (MLB). Raised in Miami, Florida, Rodriguez displayed prodigious baseball talent from an early age. Selected as the first overall pick in the 1993 MLB Draft by the Seattle Mariners, he made his MLB debut in 1994 at just 18 years old. A-Rod played for the Seattle Mariners (1994-2000), Texas Rangers (2001-2003), and New York Yankees (2004-2016).
After retiring from playing, Rodriguez transitioned to a career in sports broadcasting and analysis. He has worked as an analyst for ESPN and Fox Sports. Outside of baseball, Alex Rodriguez has been involved in various business ventures and investments. He has shown an interest in real estate and has established himself as an entrepreneur.
