@@360silk Naw man appreciate you. I was waving but let it go because I couldn't find a barber to where I moved but now imma practice and I'm sure I can get it.
WELL DONE! This is a tutorial! The size of guards as well as whether the clippers are in “open” or “closed” positions is mentioned throughout the video. The instructor’s voice is not drowned out by the background music, so the focus is on the information. Best haircut tutorial by far.
I started cutting my own hair in 5th grade. We was so poor that i had to learn so i could take that load off my parents. The first time was a disaster. I used straight scissors on 4c hair. 🤦🏾♂️ All the kids clowned me so hard that my mom was embarrassed and couldn't take it anymore. everyone that i met that knew how to cut would teach me they loved my determination and drive to be self reliant. 16 years ago i stared my locs. And now i tighten them joints myself as well. I learned that you could do anything you want if you truly try.
Similar story but my mum cut my hair. She would.give that 2017 white kid hair cut everytime. I got crowned so hard and it took at least 1 hour 2 cut my hair. It was so uncomfortable and ugly. I'm js glad I can goto the hairdresser now

This was by FAR ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS MADE FOR DUMMIES ‼️‼️‼️‼️ I like how he shown us UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL on what guard he uses and show us how he use open in close on the clippers because some don’t do that . With this video clip I feel like I can do it honestly with confidence because of how he shown us . Very grateful for this
I been wanting to learn basic hair cutting as a black woman without barber school...this is a start. Thanks brother, keep the tutorials coming cause I'm watching and learning
I think it depends if the client wants it darker (more hair) going up with the taper or fade. Some clients like the volume and others prefer more blended finer hairs
Thanks for actually showing indetail, 💯! They make a 3way mirror that you can attach to your medicine mirror cabinet! I can only imagine then🤩!! Thanks a lot Man for the tutorial!!
You getting head with that 80 dolla taper???? 😂 never heard of anyone charging 80 unless they a celeb barber and not even 80 they charge its around 100, so who cutting your shii? lol
You should have blended the bottom line out with your clippers halfway open after you closed the lever then your blend would have been on point but a solid job on the back taper ✂️✂️💈💈💈💈
Just like CP said practice patience and don’t be afraid to mess up you learn from it…: watch lots of tutorials and take a piece from each one and from your plan

Not bad bro , looks pretty good , just follow your line up with a shaver (electric razor) if your skin can take it cuz I kno most dark men don’t use the razor on the neck
WOAH that was good. The instrumental sounds phenomenal too. I also LOVE that she went with the Dean John-Wilson riffs and opt ups, it sounds sooo beautiful, alongside putting her own spin on it like the last riff. Can’t wait for the official song to drop so we can get more covers like this!! (Btw, where’d you get the cover from? I know the description said Dee Wolf but I couldn’t find it anywhere else)
Brother your work is real nice! Could you do a ladies tapered cut on your channel, if you have a willing female model? With the similar I like that you show how you adjust the leveler in each step. ☮️
Gotta get more crispy / icy than that. That looks like you need another taper again. Like day 3/4 grow back after a weekend 😂 Them tapers a weekly commitment to stay icy
I mean you're not wrong broski but when funds ain't where you need them to be for a few months. You can weekly maintenance and get improve as you see fit. All in all, you're not wrong though.
Still looks fresh on the after effects I think you dudes are so hung up on spray paint and creating fake hairlines that it's not even about it looking crispy or icy it's more so of competing with women with fake hair you know this generation of boys/men are very zesty
I been doing my own fades and taper for 5 years now. It’s so stressful but it saves me 20-60 dollars Australian each week. I have a little balding so I need to cut my hair weekly so the top looks thick coz the back of my hair is really thick. No where near buzz cutting stage yet.. 🏆. Nice starting points to improve from .
To do your own back decently is 🏆
You need to blend that more in with a 1 1/2 guard
And a half gaurd
I think it depends if the client wants it darker (more hair) going up with the taper or fade. Some clients like the volume and others prefer more blended finer hairs
It’s fine for the DIY everydayer from my experience, only people who deal with hair see the flaws while Sarah, Oscar, and Jamal just see a haircut.
When do I use the 1 1/2 guard in this scenario?
