How can one stay anxious and depressed when waiting “in joyful hope” for my savior to return. These messages and lessons really keep me going.
I am in my 70s. I completely agree with you. I have been a Christian for over 40 years and Pastor Furticks sermons are life changing.

I realized that I've been to hard on my brother that I take care of.
I'm always saying why don't you just listen to me?

Why do you always do that.
No matter how mean my words are 15 minutes later I can look at him and he smiles at me, or says I love you chelle.
I want to be more like him. I am going to change my face. I'm going to smile when I'm mad. I'm going to use different words.
I want to be happy.
I want my brother to be happy.

I had seen this series a few years back but I'm so glad it's out of the vault! It was so helpful for me back then, but it's truly an answered prayer today - quite literally! I kneeled down last night and asked God how I can fake the funk if I really don't feel it? I just want to genuinely feel happy under my circumstances. But sometimes you have to fake it till you make it, bc our thoughts reflect in our words, actions, and yes - our countenance 🙂 love you Pastor Steven!
