I'm 19 years old, and the past three months have been the most hectic yet uplifting moments of my life. I had got kicked out of my house. I dropped out of college, and moved states with my dad. I remember when I first got here the first few weeks was the hardest. I cried every night wondering why this happened. I was angry with God because i could not understand why he would put me through all of this. I would ask him why if i was already so unhappy where i use to live and now this? I would act happy, but when night time hit and i felt alone i would start to overthink and cry. I remember applying to college and everything went so smoothly. I started to pray thanking God so much, but late at night the demons would always try to attack me. anyways i got my student ID and it started with the #347 and then i got a job and we also got a ID number and that also started with the #347 i remember it being so weird but i didn't think to much of it. then one morning I woke up feeling super depressed and angry and i was having suicidal thoughts. For some strange reason that # popped in my head and out of no where i just decided to look up the meaning to it.... and when i tell you that i started crying when i was reading everything. God spoke to me and i felt this weight lift off my shoulders. ever since that day i have been praying like crazy, but im at a point right now where i feel so confused and frustrated and i really dont understand why my life feels so weird, but i feel God there with me telling me to be patient. I guess its also me leaving my past behind that i was so use to the toxicness, its just a weird feeling. but this sermon spoke to me to not go back to temptation because AMEN Jesus is better. so i will keep trusting.
I pray your life has gotten better over these last 4 years. We all have hard seasons in this broken world, but we keep going - knowing that better is ahead if we keep walking with Jesus. It'll be awesome when we get to Heaven, but there are also some really good things while we're on this Earth too. Sometimes, when we're in the hard times is when we really get to know our Savior deeper than when everything seems easy. What we learn in those seasons are what we get to share with others and help them find strength to overcome their hard seasons. Also, it'll be something you look back on later, and it'll remind you that if He did it for you before, He can do great things for you now. I'm sending you love and hugs and prayers and telling you to hold your head up because God has something wonderful in front of you. If you've turned away from Him, He's standing right behind you with His arms opened wide, waiting to wrap you in His arms and walk side by side with you going forward. 🫂💞🙏🏾 Lord, I ask that You please help Michelle draw closer to You and feel more loved and appreciated and encouraged as she moves forward. We are believing God for her total healing and restoration. We are believing that God will shift this thing and turn it around immediately. We are believing that her heart will beat properly, and that her blood pressure will remain strong, and that the fluid will come off of her body. I pray for my father too, who has not left her side. April 29 2020 at 8:44 I just got done watching this sermon and you guys have NO IDEA what it's done for me. 40 minutes ago I was feeling defeated discouraged and down and I've been saved for almost 3 years!!! I've been trying to pray read my word worship and even just meditate on my favorite scriptures but I just felt like I couldnt get to the hem of his garment. I picked up my phone and I seen this while scrolling down CZcams and right before I clicked on the link to play the sermon I quietly said to the Lord "please speak to me" and he did thru Pastor Steven. Man this was for me I love the body of Christ and how when EVERYONE does their part we can all function properly. Thank you Jesus and thank you Elevation Church. This was like water to my thirsty soul 🙌❤

I can’t forget to thank God for pastor Steve, because God has anointed him for this generation. Last two years I had lost hope and thought about myself as nothing and one day a friend made listen to his sermon about Jacobs dream and him wrestling with the angel and that being a time of transformation in his life I looked at myself and believe that minus whatever I was going through God was using it for my good and then I changed my perspective just like he introduces the sermon that “it can change our perspective to see what God can do through me” since then I’ve been following him and my whole life has been turned upside down. My cry is to one attend service where he’s preaching and probably get a high five from him🤣🤣.
Rebuilding the church my uncle couldn't do it my brother couldn't do it my friend couldn't do it but I my friend will not give up until it is done no one will take my God off this Earth and if I pass before I'm through I well cause all the flowers to to bloom my voice will Echo off the mountains and the waves smack along the shore it will be the sound of the lightning and thunder moving through the air the Church of God is the only place for us to repair the hearts and the souls that cry out for God. Just earlier today I was encouraging someone who, just like me has been feeling like they're moving backwards especially when we compare ourselves with the progress of other people. I felt led to tell him that we've got to believe that through this rough season God is preparing us for what He's about to do in our lives! I was thinking about how you've got to pull a bow's string further back in order to catapult the arrow even farther! Then I watch this and Pastor Furtick says sometimes you've gotta get better backwards and then he says "give God praise from Nairobi..."which is where I'm watching from? Good God! Jesus went backwards so we could see that He is better! He came down to lift me up. I am getting better backwards! I'm getting better through the things I have endured! Again I say..See God!!!

Im going through a situation in my life with a 10 year marriage and two children. Ive been doing great for 9 months, ive established a relationship with Jesus and learned what it truly means to fear God. I allowed my struggling marriage to knock me off my feet and ive been slipping for a week now letting condemnation take over. Yes 🙌 Today after church I watched it. It was these sermons that helped me get through this spiritual battle that was going on. Everyday I was taking notes, catching up with the message being preached and when God delivers the message through Pastor Stevens and his wife has helped me get to this point. Every time I wanted to give up, thought I wasn’t good enough etc, Especially the message today “Bent knees break chains” I was jumping up and down giving thanks 🙏 to God because it reassures me God was preparing me for this new season. I lost my mom a yr in a half ago and I would go to her for my life challenges. God brought my mom home and I am hurting daily. You help me! Thank you so much.

I can’t forget to thank God for pastor Steve, because God has anointed him for this generation. Last two years I had lost hope and thought about myself as nothing and one day a friend made listen to his sermon about Jacobs dream and him wrestling with the angel and that being a time of transformation in his life I looked at myself and believe that minus whatever I was going through God was using it for my good and then I changed my perspective just like he introduces the sermon that “it can change our perspective to see what God can do through me” since then I’ve been following him and my whole life has been turned upside down. My cry is to one attend service where he’s preaching and probably get a high five from him🤣🤣.

Rebuilding the church my uncle couldn't do it my brother couldn't do it my friend couldn't do it but I my friend will not give up until it is done no one will take my God off this Earth and if I pass before I'm through I well cause all the flowers to to bloom my voice will Echo off the mountains and the waves smack along the shore it will be the sound of the lightning and thunder moving through the air the Church of God is the only place for us to repair the hearts and the souls that cry out for God. I will sit back. It is all now in Gods hands I cannot wait to see all of the eyes open and for all to see there is not a job that God cannot repair glory to God he has an awesome God

I couldn't sleep from 4am EST, so I turned on my podcast to listen to Elevation church. This message is just what I needed to hear. Maybe God woke me up to tell me something before I got up for my work day. I am getting better because I know I cannot do anything without the grace of God. Thank you pastor Steven for this message. I have had to take time to stop shaking and write this! Just earlier today I was encouraging someone who, just like me has been feeling like they're moving backwards especially when we compare ourselves with the progress of other people. I felt led to tell him that we've got to believe that through this rough season God is preparing us for what He's about to do in our lives! I was thinking about how you've got to pull a bow's string further back in order to catapult the arrow even farther! Then I watch this and Pastor Furtick says sometimes you've gotta get better backwards and then he says "give God praise from Nairobi..."which is where I'm watching from? Good God! Jesus went backwards so we could see that He is better! He came down to lift me up. I am getting better backwards! I'm getting better through the things I have endured! Again I say..See God!!!

Im going through a situation in my life with a 10 year marriage and two children. Ive been doing great for 9 months, ive established a relationship with Jesus and learned what it truly means to fear God. I allowed my struggling marriage to knock me off my feet and ive been slipping for a week now letting condemnation take over. This message has helped me to realize that what i have now is better i am a child of God! Im gonna keep pressing on toward the mark. Having to move from state to state at a families house with no moneyyyyy because I just had my fourth child and can’t afford to pay my rent. 😞 starting all over for the second time in three years.

Yes 🙌 Today after church I watched it. It was these sermons that helped me get through this spiritual battle that was going on. Everyday I was taking notes, catching up with the message being preached and when God delivers the message through Pastor Stevens and his wife has helped me get to this point. Every time I wanted to give up, thought I wasn’t good enough etc, Especially the message today “Bent knees break chains” I was jumping up and down giving thanks 🙏 to God because it reassures me God was preparing me for this new season. The pain, tears, it was for a purpose. I thank God for giving me Grace so I can fulfill his calling on my life.
