@@ScaleMeDown I am just starting out and trying to get to grips with a Canon XA40. I am fine with stills but haven't used video since the Sony Handycam days so still trying to learn its strengths and weaknesses, but some things never change and I am reminded the hard way that most digital cameras struggle in low light!

Hi. Measured on the ground (so will probably unload a bit in flight) this model draws 48 Amps with a peak power from this 4s Radiant LiPo pack of 670 Watts
@@ScaleMeDown got it! The ESC is rated for 40A so hopefully it is a bit less in flight…
@@publicname515 It has been fine so far. Maybe they mean 40A with a burst (30s or so) at 60A. ESC ratings on the label are rarely standardised.

No gyro advertised or fitted to UK Spec models. This model really doesn't need one anyhow

I set it between the 130 - 140mm marks as shown in the video and in the instructions. 🙂
