    I'm totally besotted with this man's intellectual purview (he just grasps anew the whole Stanislavskian method in every one of his creations) and acting adroitness. Being a dilettante, I've dallied desultorily with interests such as poetry and the theatre, and must confess he is one of the few in India who follows the realist tack. As more and more commercial films become unwatchable, Konkona and he are among the few who are the last bastion of hope in the Indian move landscape, and bring some semblance of sanity, in a world which otherwise seems to have gone bonkers.

    What a gem I've found! His words really pondered me to think that I've already spoiled 30 years of my life just running after a job with utter dissatisfaction and absolute hatred.. but I still evolve.. looking to reach my authentic self someday.. Somewhere I'm still unsure what is that quality I'm magical at.. his words really triggered me to find it out soon! Loved it, Rahul ! :)

      @@rahulbose8242 I am overwhelmed to get a line of response from you after 4 years. Never saw that coming. Stay safe and take care. Perhaps a late realization from my side but my life has changed a lot since last 4 years. I left a secure government job and went to pursue masters abroad on a full scholarship at the age of 33. I was the oldest student in my class. Post qualification, I struggled with two short term jobs with technology companies and finally joined my dream job few days back. I should not say that your video was the only eye-opener, but I would encourage everyone to watch this at early stage of life so that they can learn to move out their comfort zone and discover their core potential. Best regards, chandrima

    This guy is a good parrot. I used to like him when I was young and was impressed with his english language vocabulary. Trust me he memorized it all, full GRE word-list :). India is FULL of such parrots. He is basically a leftist (as he revealed by admiring Arundhati Roy).
    If you have complexes about your self, you always try to be someone else.
    If you don't have complexes, you are happy and and all you try is be yourself and be more happy.
    I want to take this humble opportunity to say a simple thing - You can never be a English man, 'cause you are not born in England. Put your effort to become a good Indian.

      Sigh!

    • @DarkKnight-ld9cs
      @DarkKnight-ld9cs Před 7 lety +5

      Well that's not true. Lots of Indians and indian immigrants all over the world can nowadays speak and write better english than people of england itself or someone whose mother tongue is english. This goes the same way that someone from south india grew up studying and learning hindi is better at reading and writing hindi than many hindi speakers themselves. That's why Indians are doing so well in the west such as the dean himself in this video of Harvard College is an Indian. If someone has worked hard to be good at a language and be better than the locals then more power to him in capturing that job or opportunity where u need skills of a particular language be it english, spanish, hindi, mandarin, etc.

      Rajesh Sharma , a well spoken guy like him doesen't need to memorise. He speaks and sounds that way effortlessly! Yes to speak on a public speaking forum requires structured approach and well designed content, but that is craft and technique and nothing to do with trying hard to remember. Also he is versatile and very talented. Not everyone out there needs memorizing, maybe some do , he is certainly not one amongst them.

      If speaking english has to do with British only then i wonder why on earth are not speaking in your native.
      Isn't it high time to understand that language is nothing but medium of communication.. not a style avatar to posses.
