Nice review, it looks pretty good. I just sent in circa 2010 MLC 45 for repair. It developed a nasty seam tear near the top carry handle. It was deemed irreparable and they are shipping me the newest one as a replacement.
I also had an MLC I’ve had since about 2005 for a successful repair, they did a nice job on it and it’s still an excellent travel bag - I just took it to Europe. It carried all the stuff I needed for a 10 day trip (I had access to laundry)
Anyway, their stuff is not cheap but the customer service is amazing. I love that they offer a repair service to try to keep stuff out of the landfill.

Besides the two packs that I asked you to review, if you have any other suggestions for a pack, what I’m looking for is a pack that’s good for edc/gym with some organization. Thanks
I don't know if I am crazy about it for airplanes... The laptop compartment seems practical since you don't need an extra bag, but it would subtract too much from your weight allowance. Maybe only for very short trips
thank you so much on showing how it packs out! its a lot more spacious than i imagined, i really love that it has decent storage in the admin compartment, i hate having an extra pouch for wires etc. i was wondering if you are worried about your laptop getting pressure from the bag? these duffle backpacks tend to be saggy and bend. for me one disappointment, you'd def need an extra bag for EDC.
@velyvely6479 No problem! And on this one, I’m not too concerned about the laptop compartment. There pretty significant padding on both sides of it. But you’re right, this bag definitely isn’t arranged to be an EDC. Thanks!

Is there a difference between the 2022 and 2023 models?
curious, does the horizontal access to your electronics frustrate you? since you cannot get access to it like a traditional back pack when access is vertical? like it is with the 30L? seems like a potential access hassle when trying to quickly access?
I could see that being a bit of an issue, but if I were traveling with this bag, I probably wouldn’t put things I need quick access to in it. Or just know I may need to position the zippers in the right spot for easier access

I’d do the 30, the 45 is just too big for any day to day use
