Answer 1:
I liked the comment about being aware of the shadows of the camera and tripod. When people are video recording with 360 cameras on invisible selfie sticks I find myself looking for the selfie stick shadow to figure out how the scene / view point was shot.
Answer 2:
I loved the closing scene shot after sunset with the motorcycle lights providing most of the lightning. (This is only number two because the number one popped into my head before this scene played.)
People drag on for days about golden hour, but the tip to hide out in the shade when the sun is overhead is very important. I also love shooting in overcast.
Excellent lessons, I love your explanation of the rule of thirds (I never thought about the intersections as hotspots). Thanks for the inspiration!
