Don’t let the language keep you from traveling. Most of us in the US love to see travelers from around the world
@@seanlathbury5410 The problem is not only in the language but also in the possibility. Thanks for understanding.
You're always welcome japan :)
No one does perfection like the Japanese. Unbelievable quality. It's a primary reason for their success as an economy, country and culture.
When the craftsman was drawing the lines on the board, I realised I was holding my breath with each line he drew. I LOVED that video.
Japanese made products seem to still have exceptional quality.
Excellent quality hand work thank you very much.
I really enjoyed watching how these craftsmen use their feet while working. Very interesting!
I feel its an unappreciated tool in western woodworking.
Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful!
High level of skills....Excellent....success for "Process X" ...Pekalongan, Central Java, Indonesia present
wow.. 😮❤ salute to the Japanese Craftmanship thats why I love Japan...
Keren Kakak👍😃
I really appreciate Japanese technology.
Nice to see a foundry with the proper safety gear. And I´ve never seen such cool Manhole covers.
Thank u for watching:)
14:53 That wood is very appealing, it's lovely golden, blonde, & bronze-is colors are so beautiful...not that I dont like dark woods too.
Thank u so very much for sharing ur woodworking craft
Edit: 50:18 geez, I didn't know so much disassembly took place when scraping a car. I figured get rid of fluid & smoosh all da rest!
Edit: 1:01:22 jus wondering why some spots of vid were blurry? Security or patent info safety??
Thank you for the great content!
It's always pleasing to see Master Craftsmen at work producing works of art. Thank you for posting this.
Love, love, LOVE it!! Everything about this documentary is first class. 🤗
The designers of the machines to make these things is an art in itself. Very clever.👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Amazed by the care, time & precision in making these Shogi boards.
Care? No PPE with the chainsaw?
A master craftsman...An individual that can make an extremely complex skill look so easy, the average person believes themself capable of doing it.
The making of Shogi Boards is already awesome and amazing..... but PROCESS X made an awesome video too......!
Thank u so much😊
The various works that we saw were characterized by high craftsmanship, which is one of the characteristics of Japanese industries, and it seems as a mere opinion that they are the result of personal and cultural factors that are deeply rooted in the Japanese character. Meaning that technical development is the interaction of scientific aspects with psychological and social aspects.
I have this stool left by my father morethan 60 years ago. Wonderful craftsmanship.
it wasn't a stool.. its like a games checker board
kiruton
I have taken a lot of pictures in Tokyo that are of exquisite manhole covers, I just got back 3 weeks ago. But I've never seen the painted ones, wow! Thanks for posting!
Extravagant wood skills. Thank you 👍🇨🇦
I would like to have one of the colorful manhole covers ... maybe I'll buy one as a souvenir on my next trip to Japan and take it as hand luggage into the plane back home 😂
Amazing... the people involved are dedicated, talented and expert artisans!
This is very unsafe, yet the old man still got all his fingers... amazing. I guess focus and self discipline not to get distracted is safer than "rules".
The overall quality of the wood work is nothing short of perfection, and worthy of the pride the craftsmen put into their work.
What was that? A table?
👏👌👌👍wonderful and accurate wood working. Thanks for vedio.
His caligraphy is superb!
Amazing show case really 🙏🙏👍👍👍thank you for that prefect video,👍👍👍👍
I was shocked at the amount of detail on those Manhole covers! Incredible attention to detail for something that people don't really even think about.
i admire Japanese attention to detail!
I am fascinated by the way these craftsmen work their magic with the wood and the artistic way they craft their items, by hand, not by throwing it into a lathe but with artistic temperament, what an honour to get to watch these people at work, shame the rest of the world doesn't put their artistic abilities to use making things like this.
High production low prices!

What amazing craftsmanship well done to Japan for preserving the time honoured tradition
expert people always do professional work really i enjoyed watching this video THANK YOU ALL
Vive le Japon !
I ❤️ japan
Hi Guys, that was marvellous. Thanks from down-under.
Amazing. Have always wanted one of these Go boards. Such skill
I would love to see how they make the wood cover that they put on at the end. also think that would make a good checker board.
Wow! That white car torn apart looked almost new. Anyway, they certainly are amazing people.
I thought so, too! I can’t think of many reasons why it was being scrapped! Oh! I just saw a whole stack of brand new cars there… maybe they got waterlogged during shipment, or a container flipped and it was cheaper to just scrap them (?)
@@karenneill9109 cars & bikes over 5 years old have to go through more road worthy checks & licencing & insurance get exponentially more expensive so only highly collectable cars get to be maintained.. hence their 2nd hand export markets
I, Robot 2004😭
Every thing is done with so much care and patience. I wouldn't have the attention span to do something like that. Time is not important to a craftsman, but quality of workmanship is.
Very good thanks ❤❤❤❤
In the USA we have men and women with similar skills. We have in our area alone craftsmen who have been doing similar work that has been passed down from father to son. Many, there are dozens in our area alone. They hold contests everywhere, so the skill level continues to grow and thrive. Here in the USA there are people like this everywhere. In our town alone there are more than a 1000 and that number is growing right here in the USA.
Those Go boards! Just incredible
9.00 grandiose working with 3 Hands !😊👌
Great nice job. I like Japan ❤
Japanese spirit. Great!
Japanese is the unique nation in the world because of their unique craftsmanship nd culture.
Always enjoy to see good works and craftsmanship of japan
thanks for sharing this video.
great ! 👍
There is nothing like traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
Thanks to the Japanese people for preserving such craftsmanship as National Treasures!
Best of Best 👍
It looks like nobody wears safety glasses here.
I love Japan and its people.😍
The first craftsman's chainsaw needs a tightening and a good filing job. He certainly knows how to cut, store and dry 1/4 sawn wood blanks. Then he forms those blocks and blanks like a true artisan. This is a life's worth of passion, education and honing traditional woodworking skills passed down many generations.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who was frustrated by the chainsaw. He handled it well, though! It was fascinating to watch!
@@karenneill9109 of course he doesn't know what he's doing ! nor the value of the log or his saw ?
15:27 This liquid is a big secret.
dont be funny teaching these people :)
awesome. so professional
What is most remarkable is these guys can get their legs into that position comfortably at their ages!!
Pretty amazing work all round - the detail in those manhole covers! Makes this Brit rather ashamed of ours. Particularly loved the makers of Go boards - I expect they all go into a little communion with their deities to get into the right frame of mind - quite spooky the degree of attention. Wonderful glad I popped in.
Love it
You are awesome
maganda talaga pag gawang japan
Outstanding Performance sir❤Nicola 🇬🇧
I love Japane Profesional Pipol!!! 💯
Loved the manhole covers.
Thanks,Love this Game,🎎
I like the table as a table. I do not play Go or Shogi but I do like it as a reading table.
Thank you for this video…
Thank you Japan for all you made that I have treasured past and present..... Too much to mention... "Made in Japan." 🙂
Ironically, till about 1960, "Made in Japan" was the equivalent of "Made in China" today. I might be a little off on the year.
It is amazing 🙏🙏🙏
master wood worker. I wish I could learn 1/3 what he knows.
Öncelikle biz Türkler Japonları sevdiğimizi belirtmek isterim
Bu videoda güzel bilgiler edindiğim den emin olabilirsin
🇹🇷Türkiyeden 🇯🇵Japonyaya selamlar sevgiler
