“Distasteful” Warplane Designs on Tampines Block & Couple Defend Bringing 4 y.o. to Everest

- A Tampines resident urged authorities to remove a "warplane" design that was painted onto the side of a block, citing that it was “terribly distasteful" and in "bad and poor taste". However, MP Baey Yam Keng decided against doing so, and justified why in a Facebook post. Was he right in rejecting the call to remove the design? Elsewhere, a Singaporean couple travelling round the world with their 4-year-old child tried to take him on a hike to Mount Everest's base camp in May, but abandoned their plans after he fell ill. However, after making a social media video about their experience, they’ve faced a barrage of criticism for even attempting the hike in the first place. In the face of mounting criticism, the parents have defended their actions as different “parenting styles”. Is there any merit to the criticism?

I'm probably more affected that the Ludo art is off-centre due to the block number.
There are reasons why many sports have a kids versions, they also likely need way more effort for hiking due to their shorter limbs.
At that age there's no way the child will understand the risks, they may not know about altitude sickness or frostbites as even adults can succumb to it.
When the adults get tired the mental capacity to care for another starts decreasing.
I can't even imagine the child enjoying the experience.
Let them paint whatever they want as long they dont paint inside yr home ...
Can make police report against the couple for putting their kid’s life in danger? Or report to MP? There should e a law and a department for this right? Or have to wait till the kid die then can charge them? Can put the kid under custody?

Never underestimate the mountains

Letting yr kid with that kind of age to participate this kind of dangerous event only using their kid's life on gamble ...is it worth ? Be get fame for it? .. pls pray hard to god that their kid is safe ....hope is a lesson for many parents out their ...not easy to raise a kid for years
