In the Silmarillion, Sauron had no involvement in the crafting of the 3 elvish rings of power;
which were crafted to heal & repair the ravages of desolation from the wars of the Second Age against Morgorth.
Also, the Amazon prime script is flawed in other ways, & it undermines Galadriel's wisdom & maturity, has her looking young, naive, & in love with Sauron.
Bruh, u know nothing, in the silmarillion, The Three Rings were made by Celebrimbor after Sauron, in the guise of Annatar, had left Eregion. These were free of Sauron's influence, as he did not have a hand in their making. However, they were still forged by Celebrimbor with the arts taught to him by Sauron and thus were still bound to the One Ring.
In the show, they made the rings after sauron left, same as in the silmarillion, there are other inconsistencies tho

However, using teachings from Sauron, whom was disguised as Annatar(lord of gifts) a elf, over a 300 year period in Eregion amongst the Gwaith-i-Mirdain(people of the jewels) is very different from direct involvement in their crafting.
Also, Sauron was at Mordor forging the one ring of power at the cracks of doom, while Celebrimbor & the Gwaith-i-Mirdain were forging the three elvish rings of power in Eregion.
This is why Sauron most desired to possess them, "of all the elven-rings, Sauron most desired to possess them, for those who had them in their keeping could ward off the decays of time and postpone the weariness of the world"- Tolkien
So this is why the three elvish-rings were not tainted, but still bound by the one ring of power.

False. The Three Elven Rings were based on a template designed by Sauron/Annatar. That's why they can only function and last only as long as Sauron's One Ring exists. Celebrimbor forged the 3 Rings but their innate nature is bound to Sauron.

The Catholicism of this story line would deeply move Tolkien; a selfish penitent and imperfect forgiveness. He struggled deeply with the notion that those who read his works interpreted them to mean there were any souls beyond redemption; good to see Rings of Power acknowledge his conflict.
@violet's place Calling another person a liar is a strong thing, don't you think? Also, he is not. Tolkien was a devout Catholic, and the idea that all Evil can be redeemed is in his work. Sauron is presented with a chance to redeem himself, but he squanders it. When the War of Wrath ended, Sauron came before Ëonwë in repentance and begged for forgiveness. But Ëonwë could not forgive who was his equal, and he sent him to Valinor to be judged by the Valar...but Sauron was frightened and did not want to accept being judged or penance...and that is pure Catholic doctrine: from nothing serves only repentance if there is no penance and resolution not to sin again. Sauron didn't redeem himself because he didn't want to, but he had the chance.

But we're not talking about that, but that the opportunity for Sauron to be redeemed really existed, but it did not become real because of him, not because that opportunity did not exist. Gollum has it too, at one point. Saruman is offered forgiveness if he helps fix the wrongs done... And even Morgoth himself was put to penance and spared (even though he was fooling everyone). What is relevant is that this opportunity for redemption exists in Tolkien's texts, Evil is evil because it decides to be, not because it does not have the opportunity to do Good. Usually it is Pride that leads to corruption and Evil...in LOTR the relevant characters on the good side are not proud (a sinful proud, I mean), and they are all saved by the lowliest of creatures, a Hobbit. It doesn't matter if Sauron was a Maia.
