I made video of best Rogue's scene IMO. I chose 90's Rogue because she is my favorite Rogue, love Lenore Zann's voice.
Yeah, I notice most the scenes here are with Gambit lol.
It's physically impossible not to love that cute, funny, beautiful, spunky, sassy, awesome, super strong, high flying, indestructible, skunk haired, Mississippi southern belle Rogue! I just love her, love her!

This Rogue is what I live for. Classy, graceful, powerful, funny and outgoing. The movies just don't do her enough justice and neither did xmen: evolution. This Rogue was my hero and always will be.

Yeah, I legit had a hard time watching the very first xmen movie when I saw the young rogue. It was the biggest disappointment of all the characters by far.. went from my favourite character to worse, with the movies.

This is why Storm and Rogue are my favorite X-men. It always passed me off they screwed up Rogue so bad in the movies. I always liked that she was tough as Wolverine and a hot head too. She wasn't. afraid of anyone and in battle she was almost always the first one in....That's what made me love her.

My sister & I are HUGE X-men fanatics- since we were toddlers... & from the very first my older sister’s fav was Rouge & mine was Storm⚡️. I didn’t know she ❤️ Rouge until the good tv shows were done & she thought I just liked Storm bc she controls weather (& as a kid I was -terrified-😱 of tornadoes 🌪 & strong winds [living in Tx= Tornado Alley] ) & I desperately wanted to control weather. It wasn’t until the movies (sucked so much- first 3) that we returned to THE X-men❤️ & rewatched tv show. Then we said who our favs were of the TRUE X-men (not movie🙅🏼♀️) that we got all excited “mine’s Rouge”- “mine’s Storm” “!!!!!”🤗. We thought we were so cool lol. & years+ years later it’s still the same. We’re a great team!

She's so lovely. I think her jokes are a way to deal with the suffering because of her "disability" to touch directly people she love. It's like when you're in love with someone but you can't get close to that person. You need to touch that skin so much, you want to kiss, but you can't. It's so sad. I want to see this series again, since I was a child and many things scaped to my mind, but now I got the experience to relate the characters from another place. Thanks for sharing this. Rogue, my favorite female cartoon character. For reasons already mentioned in other comments, a complex but loveable personality and a mix of attitude and accent that is music to my ears and strikes a really good chord in my heart ^^

This is what Rogue should have been in the movies. The movie's version was so bad it even affected the comic version. I've been reading the X titles since '92 and they turned Rogue into a mopey emo character since Singer. The 90's Rogue was fun and she had depth. She was also an excellent portrayal of a Southern character. There are so few these days thanks to Honey Boo Boo and the like. I'm from NYC and I'm glad I was exposed to Rogue early on so I had a positive portrayal of the south. (I'm liberal and a POC but I think all American culture should be shown in a good light). Rogue sucked in Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men too. Marvel really needs to watch this compilation vid and bring the real Rogue back.

I love this version because she has pain/emo moments (her powers/her relationships ), but she also has good and humorous moments (like her pretty much yelling at Gambit because she likes him)...
In the newer movies, Rogue had a good introduction with her powers sucking out Wolverine's - but that was all. It was decent and they never did anything with the character (she should have humor and a spicy attitude)...
Wolverine was the King of every episode he was in.

Rogue didn't like the fact she was a mutant but she accepted it. I haven't watched this series in a while but I think this was when she was think about going to that island to have her mutant abilities removed. Plus as a mutant you don't always want to stand out.

I was 6, and being that young, it wasn't cool to like girls in that way, but all of the boys in school watched X-Men, and even though it wasn't cool to like girls because at that age, girls were icky, we all agreed that Rogue was great. I came to like Storm and Psylocke, too.
When I first started watching X-Men back when I was like 8, I saw Rogue and started blushing.

With that said, I like Storm in this cartoon.
It's easy to like Rogue from this series, and the one from the Evolution series, since really they're not that alike, aside from their angst.
"Shrugs" I like both cartoon Rogues, but out of the two I like evolution-rogue the most, and nothing no one will ever say about that show will ever change my mind. hell if that show had gone on further, I'm sure she would have stated to fly...its hinted at in the final episode.Personally in my opinion, a mixture of the traits between the two of them would have been a way better choice of characterization than what they did with the anna paquin Rogue.Heck Anna Paquin herself says in an interview that if she ever reprises her role again, she demands that rogue finally flies.

I love that Rogue can defeat Gladiator, one of the strongest beings in the marvel universe, but juggernaut can't even move him. Proves Gladiator is not as confident around her!
actually in Dark Phoenix saga (skirmish for Jean's fate, X-Men vs Shi'ar Empire), Rogue and Gladiator punched each other until falling debris hit them both.
Gladiator was the one rised up while Rogue lost consciousness. therefore he won against Rogue by default.
