    I love that cosy room setup, that wood screams warmth. I love it, my wife would have to pull me out of that room with a forklift :)

    I don't know why I feel offended when I see less than 100.000 subs on your channel?
    you are the best researched and no fluff product reviewer of tec I have ever subscribed too,
    and I sub to all of them. thank you for your channel.

    Great review. I’m a total FPV beginner and lipo battery fires is one thing I’ve been a little worried about. I’ve only flown DJI GPS drones so far but really want to get into FPV

      Unlike DJI smart batteries that you just plug in and go, you do need to know something about LiPos etc. Also make sure you understand Watts Law so you don't do anything daft. There's nothing wrong with knowledge.

    are you able to pick higher end voltage than 4.2v to overcharge the battery ?

    This: DC Output - 600W 2-8S Capable - does this mean this charger can also be used as an external power for our quads when we work on bench? I love that DC output function with my iSDT D1, I even power my Sequre soldering iron instead of constantly charging/discharging LiPOs. I was thinking to buy another charger, just to have one as a backup (in case something happens with my primary one, iSDT D1, don't want to be stranded), and was looking at M7AC (love that is also has AC option, just like my D1), but M9 seems little more powerful and all around better charger. What is your valuable opinion? Thank you so much in advance!

      There's no reason you can't use this as a variable DC supply with the power options. So using it to directly power a quad and set the current limit so you don't fry anything is a great idea.

    Great review. I thought it has a watt meter mode. But, I do not see it in the manual or in your review?

      OH.. I think the watt meter I was expecting is actually the ESC test option.. hooking up the ESC and motor then running it.. limited by 600W or less if it cannot get that much from the input power. More hassle than connecting up a small watt meter which usually can handle a lot more current. Kind of cool that they included that since it probably did not add $ to the cost.

    toolkitrc m9 main port disconnected
    Problem

    • @WhirlyBloke
      @WhirlyBloke  Před rokem

      Check the cable: Make sure that the cable connecting the main port on the charger to the device is securely connected and not damaged.
      Check the device: If the cable seems fine, make sure that the device you are trying to connect to the charger is turned on and functioning properly. You may also want to try using a different device to see if the problem is specific to the one you were originally trying to connect.
      Restart the charger: Try restarting the ToolkitRC M9 charger and see if that resolves the issue. If not, you may want to try resetting the charger to its factory settings.
      Contact support: If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to contact the manufacturer's support team for further assistance. They may be able to help you diagnose the problem or arrange for a repair or replacement if necessary.
