The glass plate will make a good cake plate too. The trivet’s probably won’t do well getting wet. They’d be great risers on a table or shelf or even behind something on a shelf.

I know! I would love to get better about showing my styling from my hauls! Honestly most of the time when I’m making these hauls I havnt found a home for them yet! But I really do want to start incorporating this more!

Thanks for sharing your great finds with us. Your show is really cool.Just wanted to share that I find vegetable or coconut oil handy when I need those pesky stickers and labels gone. That really relieves the aggravation. I do wish your content every possible success 🌸
Aww thank you so much, I’m really happy you loved the video and thank you for the extra tip on the stickers and labels! I’ve tried lemon oil in the past and it works well but it usually takes a lot of it, I’ll have to try the coconut oil next time! ☺️

Our thrift store prices are getting way too high, ridiculous. Great haul and your prices are amazingly low.
Our goodwills are out of control with their prices. I found something at TJ max brand new for less
Ours are super random. It’s like one day I’ll go in and find that super cheap pot for $3 and then the next day I’ll look at a large frame and they want almost $200 for it and I’m like if I wanted to spend $200 on a large frame I would but it new 😅 Im not sure who does the pricing but they have a very strange way of doing it. But I’m glad you enjoyed the haul, I’m not sure where you are located but I have some west coast thrifty friends and I know their prices tend to be much higher than ours here in the south east.
That’s wild Loretta! I have definitely found some ridiculous prices of things that used to be dollar tree or like things that say the price on the box and then goodwill will put a sticker on it for only 1 dollar less than it was totally new and it’s like destroyed 🤣 I really don’t understand their logic sometimes lol.
@@brookesimplybliving I’m from the Pacific Northwest and yes it’s expensive. They said that they use Google app and look up the prices and determine it from there and they also blame it on inflation 😒 I think it’s just corporate’s way of get rich. These are donated items that people give to help people. I also donate my stuff, I might reconsider donating it somewhere else.
That’s ridiculous, I mean I get they look stuff up but they need to consider that what they have is usually not in great condition or something that holds or increases it’s value over time. I’m sorry you have such high prices over there!

Yes! Lemon oil is a life saver! I just always seem to forget that in the moment and try to muscle through hahaha 🤣

Don't let learning to sew intimate you. It's just a puzzle. Putting pieces together. Start with scrap fabric & practice seams. Keep your seams lined up straight with the seams allowance markings on your machine. Also, I have found great fabric deals at the Restore Habitat for Humanity. My store sells it for $2 @ yd. You have to buy the entire bolt. Sometimes, there's a yard, sometimes, 2 yards, sometimes 6 yards. It's all upholstery material. Great for making pillow covers, etc.

Incredible finds. What a unique lamp. Probably get slammed for this lol but as you don't like the Easter basket vibe. Only buy them if I'm able to cut the handles off n touch up with similar stain. Looking forward to redo of your living room.

1st time viewer. I love your style. I'm all about the same type of dishes, I love the floral and the ribbing details. Also love the jugs, crocks, vases, and books for styling. Aww yay!! I’m so glad you found the channel and are enjoying it! 🥰 I wish we had a few more good local owned thrift shops ( like mom and pop places) but we do have a really nice goodwill close to us that we frequent often.
Oh estate sales are so fun!!! You should totally try them out! I recommend taking a friend though! It can be helpful to have two sets of eyes and hands and also just way more fun! For my name, Brooke haha , I know it’s a little silly but it’s what I came up with when I first started lol 🤣
The wood turned thing is the bottom of a balancing board. It’s missing the top piece and then you stand on it and try to balance. We actually have one. It’s from the 60’s or 70’s. Di they call it a bongo board? Maybe
