#5 Sony did say the PS5 would be more stable than previous PlayStation and that's why I have a PS5 but to be fair I have been a PlayStation user ever since the original, I had a Xbox one at one point but it just ended up as a plinth or stand for my PS4
@Jacob R I used to work for a company that shipped a lot and I was in charge of ordering shipping materials. The reason you got a box like that hazardous specimen box is because large corporations request boxes like that so companies like ups and fedex and even usps make custom boxes for them. However if the company stops ordering them, they end up having a surplus and give them away for free to get rid of them. I’ve ordered those before and shipped completely unrelated stuff in them before too. Some shipping materials are free but some aren’t. So if you can get a box of 1000 free boxes vs paying $1-$5 each for them, you bet we’re gonna order those instead lol.
Not sure if it’s already been answered but that’s exactly why you got that box. Some company had them custom made then either stop buying them or stopped shipping.
I also forgot to add. Usually those boxes come in different sizes that aren’t the same as their flat rate boxes since they’re custom made, but may qualify for flat rate prices. It’s possible they found that those boxes fit more consoles better than the standard boxes and ordered them for that reason. There. Now you owe me a banana milkshake
@@racah1595it was most likely given to whoever shipped it when they walked into UPS with no packaging materials. Happens all the time usually never businesses doing this though. They must not get a ton of business
That or they just use those boxes because when they're actually used...it's not something that you can return.

NXE dashboard was my first dashboard also and it is my fav dashboard from the color scheme to the sounds to the layout it was all a great!! I wish xbox has a way where you can change your dashboard style to whatever you want!

I loved watching cable TV through windows media centre on my 360 as I had no coax in my room. Yes all before the digital switchover. I had a TV tuner on my XP PC, then Vista laptop, in the basement and used the wireless N adapter to send the signal to the console two floors up. It was not great. That is when I took my first stab at Ethernet powerline adapters and it worked Great.

Well considering it was their last console that actually sold well. They're only shutting down the 360 store, they're not removing 360 games sold in the Xbone/Series X/S store.

Just sold the walkman that pioneered psp microdiscs but never took off because it was too expensive to even produce albums for it. You have to find a blank disc and record with it before you can play music cool part is the tray even matches the psp.
They may have cleaned it but cleaning it wont get the cigarette smoke smell out of it. The residue sticks to the board, shell, ect and once its been on there long enough the smell seeps into things and it wont come out. Especially if they smoked a lot or smoked with windows closed ect if thats all the system was pulling in then that smells going to be there for a while youd have to clean it with an ultrasonic cleaner a few times and honestly probably still wouldn't get the smell out because its seeped into the pores of everything on the system anything that is pours like the plastic cables/cable coverings its going to sit in it and once the system heats up youre going to smell the cigarette smell.
i got into the xbox ecosystem in early 2022 (series s) and i bought black ops 2 on sale for like 15 and the fable games and a few others just to reminisce on games from the past
I remember when i first got my og Xbox elite console (no built in wifi) when I was a kid and Netflix had this awesome as feature to watch movies in a party with your friends and it would have it look like a movie theater with your avatar and friends in the seats watching on the theater looking screen. Was so dope. They did away with it not to long after not sure why

Yeah I think I have the same hardrive in my slim 360. When I got it, I didn't want to pay for the outrageous prices for a hardrive so I bought a hd case for 360 from aliexpress and put a larger drive in it. It has served me well and still perfect after all these years, knockoff looking ones may have quality hd inside.
As a UPS employee who works in the building I can say we offer customers whatever boxes are down at the clerk area for free if they don’t have one or don’t want to buy a box. We hardly see businesses coming in that don’t already have their packages packed and ready to go though. Bad business practices right there…..

You should buy a Sony psx dvr these things are always a gamble as there not the most reliable and if they work bc it’s a tv recorder anything could turn up on the hdd it seems something perfect for the Channel plus they look cool af by far the coolest from the ps2 family with that early ps3 style XMB
Using that labatory box to ship any thing other then then the dangerous goods it was ment for violates so many Transportaion of Dangerous Goods laws.
For it to be legal, all the markings on the box would have to be defaced/destoryed.

I would love to see you send DK Oldies a care package of cleaning cloths, isopropyl alcohol, canned compressed air and dry paint brushes, and an accurate dictionary description of what "Refurbished" means printed out and at the top of the box when they open there package.

There IS a fan in OEM Xbox 360 slim power supplies, as i have one and i have taken it apart, you can't hear it though.
Those UN3373 packages usually have dry ice in it as well. Glad you had on some gloves because dry ice burns when it touches bare hands. Man, these vids make me scared to buy things on dkoldies and lukiegames

its funny i got a console from retrovgames a ps vita and suprisingly it was refubished as far as i could tell, no scratches or anything on the console nor markings or dirt or anything. still working fine 2y later so maybe i was lucky?
(for note i didnt open up the console but as far as the outside goes it looked very clean)

Jacob, My Nephew gave me his old Xbox 360 console and seems he got logged out on it and cannot remember his password. Don't know what to do with the console I've never had one before. Right now its in our Guest room on the floor. I would like to do something with it but when I tried to put a profile on the blasted thing it refused to allow it. Not sure what to do

Im sure what really happened is ups gives tho boxes away free so they took it so they didnt have to pay for a box lol If your shipping stuff and ask uos for boxes they will charge you but if you go to a ups store you can just take those boxes they are just sitting out in the open, the difference is most people will tape up and cover the writing on the box😅

@@jrob0021 the boxes are supposed to be built sturdier than an average shipping box also yes theyre free to take, much like at the post office they charge you when you ship them, unless u wrap it in kraft paper.
