    what is the use motor capacity and drowing details

    • @pistolcrossbow
      @pistolcrossbow  Před 11 měsíci

      The motor is a single phase 230 Volt 50Hz 2200 Watt.
      Hydraulics: double acting 210 bar, 8 tons of crushing force.
      The pump has a double stage so the cylinder can go fast with a lower crushing force and with the second stage of the pump it goes the full 8 tons but at a lower speed.

    Hi, have you any technical specifications? I want to build similar as you have. How much kilograms is one bale? Thank you. Nice baler!

    • @pistolcrossbow

      Hey,
      Thanks! :)
      I have some specs for you:
      Length: 98 cm.
      Height: 30 cm.
      Width: 30 cm.
      The steel body is made out of 1 cm thick steel.
      the door is 8 mm thick steel with reinforcement welded into it so the door will not bend under the pressure.
      Crusher plate: 8 mm thick steel plate reinforced with steel profiles on the back (you can not see them in the video), Crusher plate guidance is made out of a square tube and is placed on 4 corners of the blade so in the case of a jam or when tough item is crushed the crusher plate will nor tilt and break the welds were the hydraulics are connected to the plate.
      The hydraulic cylinder is bolted with 4 bolts in a steel H beam.
      the dimmensions of the H beam are: Height: 14 cm and width 7,5 cm.
      The opening where the cans go in is 18,5 cm in length and 25,5 cm in width.
      The hopper is made out of thin sheet metal riveted together.
      The hinge points for the door are made out of 2,5 cm thick steel rod.
      A bale weighs about 8 kilogram for aluminum cans.
      steel ones are pretty heavy, I don't know the exact weight but that depends on if i put some more heavy metal in it like sheet metal or so.
      Bonus facts: The body is made from a profile that they use at gasstations for suporting the roof.
      The hydraulic system is made from a Crossfer 8 tons electric wood splitter.
      I know, A lot of info there, If you want some more details just respond to this comment :D

      @@pistolcrossbow Wow, thank you so much! Are you collecting aluminium cans for cash? Because i'm on high school. We have project for recycling cans plus some restaurants, which don't recycle anything give to my team a lot of cans. I have only one crusher, it's super cool, but i have a lot of cans for this crusher. I finding sollution. That's what i want! :D How much cost it? If it's not secret :D That specs are very cool, now i know all about your crusher! Great work!

      @@krystofconk157 Yes, For some cash. the prices for aluminum are high over here: 80 euro cents per kilogram.
      I drink a lot of cans myself (kinda addicted to Monster Energy) and some people i know are collecting them for me too :D
      There is also a lake and some beaches here where i live en there are bins that are full of cans in the summer, I also take the other scrap metal as well, Most of the time there are a lot of broken chairs and tents over there.

      @@pistolcrossbow Oh man, you're very lucky! We in the Czech have terrible prices, for example 40 Cents/kilo, but i will have some collaboration with cans recycling companies, or producent (Ball). You are from NL, right?

    • @pistolcrossbow
      @pistolcrossbow  Před 5 lety +1

      @@krystofconk157 That's not very much, You need a crap load of cans to earn yourself a meal at Mc donalds xD.
      Yes i am from The Netherlands, Most prices here are good, Steel is like 16- 17 cents per kg and clean copper (stripped wires, shiny pieces without paint or other crap) is now around 4,60 per kg :)

    • @pistolcrossbow
      @pistolcrossbow  Před 9 měsíci +1

      I made it myself with a hydraulic log splitter as base for the hydraulics.
      All the metal i bought at the local scrapyard.

    • @pistolcrossbow
      @pistolcrossbow  Před 9 měsíci

      @@creatorpash It's not for sale but it is actually not that hard to build one. Look for a second hand log splitter and you have all the hydraulics you need. That is probably the hardest part to get.
      There is a video on youtube where they show you how to build 1 with a cheap log splitter and it seems to work pretty well :D

      About 8 kg of aluminium cans per bale.
      Steel tins like for soup are heavier. I never put a bale of these on a scale but if i must guess the weight i would say about 12-15 kg
