Bad omens “enough now”, often overlooked. The pain in his voice will make you feel some kind of way.
Yes this^^^ Enough, enough now is sooooooo underrated, the whole album is. I love the first album too. I wish I discovered them in that time and grow up with the band

And what’s crazy is his latest live videos floating around CZcams his voice has gotten better and more of what’s truly him. Watching the evolution of him finding his voice and the evolution of the band in general is nothing short of outstanding.
That’s the beauty of the metal genre. They write lyrics about real stuff. And in a lot of cases, I’ve noticed that the harder the song goes, the deeper the issues they are writing about, just to give it that pure emotion. I have read that this song was about a vehicle accident Noah was in with his father. Noah lived but unfortunately his father passed (“woke up in the light, convinced my life had made it to its end. Burning up beneath the sun, while my father drained of blood…”). So you can understand his frustration and feel his pain with the rest of the controversial lyrics. I was raised Catholic and I’m still a believer of a higher power but this is still one of my favorites just for the raw emotion you get from the music and lyrics. That’s what metal is all about. You don’t just hear it. You FEEL IT. Might be a different perspective for Eric to look from next time there’s a song he can’t understand right away. Great job as always guys! Loved it.
Wow thanks for sharing, I did not know that! Noah is so good at keeping his personal shit private (rightfully so, nothing but respect for that decision) but hearing that detail makes this hit so much harder, if that's even possible! I was raised Christian and unfortunately watched my mom battle and lose her life to cancer at a young age. It definitely made me question my religion, and the anger and emotion in this song is the exact anger I felt for a long time towards whatever higher power there might be. Noah and the band captured that perfectly (as if any of us are surprised by that, these dudes don't miss). ❤
My wife not long ago found saw a video of him explaining, it and there were multiple people in the car and he was the only survivor, then he lost his mother not long after

@leelandaiche I think they took it down because I've been trying to find it too, but I believe he just wants to keep his life as private as possible, other people aren't as respectful as somone managed to find is parents obituarys and was threatening to leak it :/

If you guys read the lyrics it's a truly pissed off song about him and his father in a car accident and his father didn't survive. Definitely explains the anger he is feeling and challenging God. As always love your reactions 😂❤

The voice of noah its so great, the different things he can do with it its Just awesome like a beautiful high pitch like Death of peace of mind or scream like this. It reminds me a lot of the versatility of chester bennington, the voices are different but have same versatility. Hope bad omens keep going for more
I've seen them open for Ice nine kills and they were absolutely amazing, that INK concert is what got me into Bad omens. never heard them before that concert and it was an extremely pleasant surprise.
Me too. I had heard of them, but never heard them until they opened with Death Of Piece Of Mind. I knew by the time the chorus hit I was going to like them.
When they finished the song and Noah said "Welcome to the cult" I knew I was in for good.

Of course I have to recommend In the End as a classic (and probably falls into what Kyle said about Andy not looking like how he sounds) but I also have to recommend Scarlet Cross as a newer song. So glad you guys got around to reacting to this! 😁 Cool thing is that the boys are currently on tour with A Day To Remember and their set is 90% stuff off the new album and then they’ve been closing their set with this song. All of the live videos popping up on CZcams are WILD. Noah and the entire band literally perform this day after day, flawlessly.

You guys definitely need to react to a lot more Bad Omens! The evolution of both the sound of the band and Noah's voice is absolutely insane, so much talent you can't see the end of it. Maybe do The Grey next, because I think that's the highest Noah's voice has ever been, and after listening to his lower range (he sounds lower live than on record too, which is nuts) it would give you a great idea of his range. Plus the song is incredibly beautiful!

Dudes, y’all should really go on Shiprocked cruise, Bad Omens is on the bill along with FIR, Parkway Drive and about 30 other bands and several dozen other artists with special performances. This cruise is 6 days this time and will blow any other festival out of the water. Coolest thing is the artist mingle and party with everybody on the ship, there’s no other experience like it, this will be my 4th year in a row. Rooms are starting to run low so don’t procrastinate.
I was familiar with Bad Omens before this, but when the album version of this dropped, I was all in, head first, love this band
