I was working in the construction industry. It was the 80s I had one of those big portable stereos that blasted it out. We were on the roof of a 3 storey building repairing the tiles. We had this song blasting out full power people looking up from the street, 3 grooving construction workers shaking it to this song. A small crowd gathered in their lunch break. We got a round of applause at the end. Thanks for the clip bringing back the memory.
Sounds fun. Nowadays you'd get an army of sheep sharing you all over the net. You can't enjoy anything today without the smartphone brigade watching... I hate the damn things.
Saw them at rock city 1983 Nottingham doing this track live, well they were there.... they were magic... just lstened again, brings back great memories.
CZcams music is not complete without people launching Napoleonic hate-campaigns against one another in the comment threads. Sweet track, thanks for uploading!
I mean…this is better than Living on the Ceiling. At the prime age of 23, I’m fairly young to be into all the late 70s early 80s post punk new wave electronic and synth-pop from Jean Michel Jarre and Kraftwerk’s Autobahn, from Numan to OMD, to Depeche Mode and Talk Talk, to Heaven 17 and China Crisis, and Blancmange are hardly talked about in comparison. I think after the Human League they’ve got just the most interesting overtly synth-pop sound. That pulsing bass is killer “ma mo mo mo mo *thud *SMACK ma mo mo mo mo *thud *SMACK I live for this stuff on my playlist, always gets my head bopping!
Love this...Reminiscing I used to go to independant record shops and the guy behind the counter would recommend a listen. I bought this on 12'..still have it...no finger prints...ha ha nerd alert
@ SuspectVandal- I actually quite like the Faithless version ... it is good to see them reving what is essentially a lost track with a modern feel. It is a remix ... it aint supposed to be the same!
@TheNewMusicNetwork One could argue that Arthur Baker and John Robie made a Kraftwerk cover version which is not stealing. Unfortunately for you i think Feel me is the forgotten track compared to the Wildstyle track however that is just my opinion.

I think you missed the point, Wildstyle by Timezone sampled the bassline from Feel me
