I mean, when you speak a lot about something, you are expressing how you feel and the amount of what you feel. It also makes you feel relatable and genuine. Although my eyes drift from the video to what I'm working on and vice versa, it feels nice to have something to listen too when you feel a little lonely and down working on something very work intensive.

Their own brand watercolours are lovely to use and huge tubes that go on forever. If you are ever in London Cornelissens is a really magical experience and worth a visit, and the London Graphic Centre is nearby. For window-shopping or pigments AP Fitzpatrick, posh but nice. Online GreatArt, Artifolk, Atlantis, and of course Cassart, but there are lots more, it depends on what you are looking for. All have good offers, but they won't help if you get urgent art cravings! I try to stick to the offers 😉.

I personally love your chatty videos. I often put on one as I draw in my sketchbook and it really helps me to relax and enjoy the process of drawing. Some people may not enjoy it but there are plenty of others who do, so don't let them get to you.

For what is worth, I personally really like Minnie's videos and I like the fact that are quite long and articulated so that she can talk without rush of any important topics she evaluates worthy a chat. Also, I love to hear her talking away while I draw and paint; she's such a positive inspiration, always puts me in a relaxed mood (and God's know how much I need it)! :-)

Great video. It's convenient too because I'm considering buying an outdoor easel for plein air painting from Jacksons. (Brand suggestions welcome). Also as far as the chattyness, sure your videos can be long, but CZcams is also saturated with 2-5 minute blips of art videos and people who talk too darn fast so the change of pace is nice sometimes. You do you.
The thing I love the most is how relatable this all is. My art store visits not only ends with me buying too much but usually with me having supplies for a hobby I didn't even have when I went in =D

I love Cass Art and it's unlikely I'll change that much but the very simple, but brilliant fact that Jackson's have swatches of colour rather than photos of tubes for their paint selection is enough to make me go to them for paint.

please please make a podcast it would be so amazing and informative you have some very logical and simple ways of looking at art. i think it would help a lot of people by letting loose, and remembering thwart isn't such perfection. you also have a very soothing voice.
I hope you come to love your box easel as much as I have mine! I live in a very small inner city studio apartment, so it is quite a blessing that I can fold up my easel and tuck it away in the closet when I'm not painting. I've also taken it out for a few plein aire sessions, and I must admit, my upper body strength is about equal to yours, so I just make sure I don't wander too terribly far from my car with it! Lol 😝 😁
One of the things that makes me come back to watch your videos is the way you talk about and explain things. You obviously put a lot of thought and effort into your content as well, but I love the way you just chat about stuff sometimes. And like a few other people have commented, I also find your voice very pleasant, so that's a plus. Please, keep doing things the way you want to do them, and if it's too chatty for some, that's their problem (and hopefully in future they'll find a nicer way to point that out). I'll be watching in any case.
You can't rush art! Further, you shouldn't rush discussions of art or the like... Most ppl watching are not here for instant gratification... love the authenticity minnie ♡

i LOVE listening to you talk!!! i follow quite a few different artist youtubers and they each have different aspects that i love and watch them for, and my favorite thing about you is how thorough you are and you have such a soothing voice! i am also a thorough kind of person and i like to consider a lot of things at once so i especially love when you do reviews or introspection videos because you give me a lot to think about :) also i think it's kind of hilarious that you're so... well, thorough and precise about everything yet when you shop online you just add stuff and don't even look at the cart afterwards! hahaha. i wish i could do that but i always look at it and am like 'well, i don't really need this.. i can buy this another time...' and remove stuff until half of it is gone :P maybe i should try leaving everything and ordering as a surprise for myself!
I loved watching every second of this. Huge hauls like this are like opening presents during Christmas for me, im so glad i was able to live through you for those few minutes. ( I gasped when i saw the porcelain palette!)

that angled desk thing is so cool. I just found one laying around while spring cleaning (artistic grandma) and I love it. I hope you like yours.

Try cowling and Wilcox, they are based in Kent but their online shop is great and cheaper than Jackson's and tend to have sales/events quite often 😄

Also the Stonehenge Aqua hot and cold press watercolor paper is amazing from Jackson's, it is 100 percent cotton and works like Arches.

I live 5 mins from a beautiful beach and my favourite thing to do is to bring my easel, paints and everything I need (and also a camp chair lol) and I just paint! It’s so calming and I love it! Xx

I always wanted to order from Jackson’s, mostly to buy brands no one sells in Canada. Also like how you did a mini review of everything you bought!

please please make a podcast it would be so amazing and informative you have some very logical and simple ways of looking at art. i think it would help a lot of people by letting loose, and remembering thwart isn't such perfection. you also have a very soothing voice.

I hope you come to love your box easel as much as I have mine! I live in a very small inner city studio apartment, so it is quite a blessing that I can fold up my easel and tuck it away in the closet when I'm not painting. I've also taken it out for a few plein aire sessions, and I must admit, my upper body strength is about equal to yours, so I just make sure I don't wander too terribly far from my car with it! Lol 😝 😁

One of the things that makes me come back to watch your videos is the way you talk about and explain things.
You obviously put a lot of thought and effort into your content as well, but I love the way you just chat about stuff sometimes.
And like a few other people have commented, I also find your voice very pleasant, so that's a plus.
Please, keep doing things the way you want to do them, and if it's too chatty for some, that's their problem (and hopefully in future they'll find a nicer way to point that out). I'll be watching in any case.

i LOVE listening to you talk!!! i follow quite a few different artist youtubers and they each have different aspects that i love and watch them for, and my favorite thing about you is how thorough you are and you have such a soothing voice! i am also a thorough kind of person and i like to consider a lot of things at once so i especially love when you do reviews or introspection videos because you give me a lot to think about :)
also i think it's kind of hilarious that you're so... well, thorough and precise about everything yet when you shop online you just add stuff and don't even look at the cart afterwards! hahaha. i wish i could do that but i always look at it and am like 'well, i don't really need this.. i can buy this another time...' and remove stuff until half of it is gone :P maybe i should try leaving everything and ordering as a surprise for myself!
