Shih Tzu's are the best dogs. I have one and now a lot of my neighbors have them. They say its because of my dog and how well behaved he is and how nice he acts with people. Remember though they need lots of brushing and regular haircuts/grooming so they cost a bit more in your budget.

And his amazing acceptance and gratitude for the soft toy puppy…..loved it. Your son will be one of the best puppy owners for his calm way will help the puppy so much.

All shih tzus are awesome and amazing pets. Unfortunately, not all owners are amazing. Shih tzus are a lot of work. They need constant grooming. They can be stubborn. They are not for everyone!! I can't tell you how many bad parents I've seen throughout the ten years I've had my precious, angel, baby!!

Weird Turtles man that really sucks, mine just turned 3 in February 28th, her name is Pelusa which sound way better in Spanish it mean hairy/furry, and she a girl I would cry an ocean if she when she dies, I hope he or she atleast lived a nice long life man you have my empathy I lost 4 of my parakeets feels bad man, feels bad 😢😢😭😭😭
Black Goku_ ssj rose Thank you for some support. I'm sorry to hear that your birds passed :( I got a new puppy last week. He's 9 weeks and 2.2 pounds. Kaden didn't really have a great life though.. He was blind, deaf, he had seizures every week, he had arthritis in his hips, he had a stoke the day he died and 6 seizures that day. He was paralyzed and couldn't stand or eat. I loved him so much, and I wanna give you some advice, spend as much time with your dog as you can, because life goes by fast. We got kadens ashes and I put the box of ash on a shelf above my bed. It was so sad when we put him down, my heart broke. I remember looking up with his body in my arms praying and looking up at the sky wishing him a good life in heaven. When kaden was here.. I didn't spend as much time with him as I should have. 2 months before he died, he was on medication for pain, but the vet said he would life at least 2 more years. He lived 2 months longer. I really hope you don't make the same mistake I did and ignore him when I shouldn't have. Please please please always have him with you so that you can remember all the positive times you had with him/her. I miss my little buddy and I know everyone who loses a pet will. Some will say it's just a pet, but we all know we've lost a best friend.
Weird Turtles I was my dogs favorite when we first got her but then school started and I didn't pay attention to her enough and then I was her favorite anymore, and then I realized I haven't spent much time and when my neighbors 2nd dog died form a pit bull attack , he tired god ended his owner who is like 80yrs, and his first died from a sickness and well the other not a good one but a painful one, the pitbull ripped his stomach open and began buying his owners arm and Mojos arms ( his dog) , there were 3 pitbulls and since then I've given my dog more attention, and right now I have 9 parakeets and then started multiplying, and since then I have given them both more attention

Make sure you groom the dog. It's very important and get it "fixed". Also, keep it indoors and don't ask to trade it in for a puppy when it gets old.
