#JPVideos - Zábava
Thanks for riding along with me. Make sure to leave your feedback regarding my question about these types of videos.
I like when you do a "trip" combined in one video myself. Makes it feel like an adventure to me. I also enjoy the idea of "part 1" and "part 2" if time is very extended. 💙🙂
Shirley Yokum kept a clean place. She has long since passed away. A very nice lady.
Videos like this are perfect, Jay.
I've only seen mostly the long videos....Now I did pass up the videos where you are giving a e-bike review...lol sorry, but that doesn't interest me. Thank you for sharing your finds.
I'm fine with longer explore/travel videos. If I'm not able to watch the whole thing in one go, I just keep coming back to watch more. Loved this Video, Jay. Thanks.
I liked this long style!! I definitely say stop off whenever you can because you never know what you’re gonna miss and it’s not like you’re gonna probably go through there again anytime soon. 💙
I wish I stopped at those other 3 places, but I already planned my next trip back.
You found toys ,it's definitely abandoned. I like the long lengthy videos ,road side finds definitely A plus 😊 .
I love seeing stuff like this because it gives you a little of everything our time and are grandparents time
This was great. Love old roadside finds. The longer videos are awesome! 🙂
Hey, J.P., please keep making these videos. A lot of people, like me, can't get out. I fell off my horse two months ago and am recovering from broken bones right now. Watching your videos is a blast. Keep up the great work.😊😊
I love seeing Videos like this, it’s still a part of History
JP, I personally love watching long videos, as long as the channel I’m watching has good content, and yours always does. It didn’t even feel like an hour.
Thank you!
@@JPVideos81 of course! Plus, I'm originally from York, PA, so watching your videos makes me less homesick. If you ever get over to the Hametown/Shrewsbury/Stewarstown/Winterstown area of PA, there are a lot of really awesome places to visit. Rehmeyer's Hollow would be at the top of my list.
I like both long and short. You are good at editing, so even the long videos flow vary well, keep the content coming Jay.
Awesome West Virginia adventure JP! Such beautiful little towns and alot of great finds! I've always loved the beauty of West Virginia and Virginia! Thanks for bringing us along! long or short, love them all! 💙😊👍
Ty mitch
I was not ready for the adventure to end ...so I guess I like the longer videos LOL..Really enjoyed each stop ...felt like I was right there with you ..and each stop was so interesting ..Very relaxing adventure on the road and can't wait to go again ! 😊👍💙 ( poor ole house ..You found the toy trains ..I guess it really was abandoned ) .
Funny how time can fly when you get sucked into something enjoyable. That train was completely unexpected, but confirmed that it's abandoned 😊
There is nothing like riding around rural WV (especially the southern tip - aka Monroe County) that you can't find something wonderful to photograph.
It was excellent. I love seeing the cool history of these old places and stuff and you come across And stuff. I think the video perfect. Great time.
Jay, the roof probably failed on the collapsing house. A lot of people forget that a roof needs to be replaced every 20-30 years. Once the roof goes, the rest of the structure very quickly follows. BTW, I like the longer cut videos. I know a lot of people don't, but I enjoy your videos so the longer the better! 😄😄😄
Loving these backroads travel videos!! Feel free to leave them lengthy!! Thanks for taking us along!! ❤❤❤(p.s. loved the train set.)
I love to settle in with the longer videos; they transport me to an alternate reality better than short ones! It’s like taking an actual road trip with an adventurous buddy 😍
💙😊
Aww, thank you
Beautiful photos
love vids like this. and i like these longer ones.
I ❤ this long lengthy road find video!I love details and find this video very entertaining!! More like this one please JP!Thank you!
I like the longer videos. This video was amazing! I loved the house with the air conditioning. The fireplace set a tone that made me feel that the house was once a very happy place. It would be great to learn what happened that it got abandoned.
Very good finds JP. I enjoyed this video a lot. I love old things, buildings like the beautiful school and the cafe restaurant with stools and booths, abandoned houses, outhouse, churches. I was concerned about your choice of shoes. Lots of snakes in those areas, and ticks. Thank you for this one. I will probably watch it again later. The long ones are right for a slow day on the couch. ❤❤😊
I'm betting people are living in some of those Trailer Homes
Oh wow, Jay. I saw a lot of hidden gems all over there. That's one beautiful place to visit.
I drove the little grey Ford tractor like those 2 in here, when I was a teen. Raking hay on our farm. We had 2 Ford tractors, small one and my brother had a newer big blue one. And also dad's old John Deere. We had a neighbor buy dad's old John Deere at our farm auction to surprise my brother when we moved from IL to FL. Then When we moved back to Midwest this time up in WI we brought the tractor with us. It's like having dad with us still, tho he's been gone since 2000. Great video of some cool finds. Thanks fo0r sharing Jay! God Bless🙏🙏🌺
This was a awesome video and the still pictures were so beautiful. I enjoyed the longer video it is like a little movie. Yes to longer videos. Thank you for sharing and taking me along your adventure...😀💙
Ty dottie 💙
This was an hour well spent, and it was enjoyable to "go with you" on the exploration. Loved seeing the old abandoned houses...I've done a bit of the same thing on the NC/VA border where Kerr Lake is (Townsville, Tungsten Mine, etc.) and it is fascinating to see what was. You might be the last person to ever document these places before they're gone forever.
I love the Seneca Rocks area. The hike to the top is worth it for the incredible views! I also went to Smoke Hole Caverns when I was in that area.
I like the longer videos. Keep them coming!
I love to see the historic structures especially when they are mostly whole and explorable
Hi jp I like old places they are nice to see old stuff and I like long road side video 😊💙
I don’t mind long videos because I am crocheting. You have a pleasant voice.
I loved this one, I always love exploring abandoned houses when I was younger
Love all that you show i like this video ❤❤
Another great video. Enjoy especially the lengthier videos. One can always pause it or come back to it again later. 💙🙂
Very cool video JP.
I do like the longer length videos personally from your multiple road side finds.
Thanks for sharing and stay well! 💙😁
Thanks, Jay. I enjoy long videos, saves me from searching around for something to watch, and I can always hit pause. 💙 😃
Central California 👀
I enjoyed the longer video & it's lovely to see the quieter places on the back roads.😅💙
Beautiful Roadside finds. I like the long videos.
Love the roadside finds! I think longer videos are good for these.
Short videos or long, I watch them all to the end. And when you see it Film it. You can always show us later on, you know like a trip down memory lane.
Love the long videos.
The abandoned homes are my favorite…
💙🙂 I love the longer videos.
I love these videos no matter how long they are thank you
Nice video 👍🏻 i loved those beautiful views and small towns 😅
Also those are some sick glasses 😎
😀💙I watch them, doesn't matter how long or short they are, Thanks for doing them.
I tend to enjoy the longer vids because i am always curious what your gonna find next
videos like this cant be long enough
Hi JP from West Virginia 👋 i hate snakes !
Enjoyed the adventure. I usually don't watch videos more than 20 minutes, but this one kept getting interesting. Looks like a place I would like to visit.
I didnt intend it to be this long, but WV didnt disappoint.
I prefer longer videos, but either way you put out GREAT content. Keep doing what you do
Thank you for this adventure! Love these types of videos.
My pleasure
We prefer the longer videos…great work on this one. 👍😇🇺🇸
The long videos are great and seem more complete. More please!
Your video's are never boring! Sitting in the AC drinking ice tea on a 95 degree day, I'm all in for an hour of your video 👍 Keep up the good work!
Enjoy!
Jay do anything and it is always great!
I love the longer videos!!! And i loved those trains! What a cool find!
Glad you like them!
I like the longer videos JP,
I don't mind the long video as long they have been interesting like this video was. Thanks for the ride long
Long road side vids are way more exciting to watch than the short ones
I found it amusing that you'd never seen an outhouse with all the adventures you go on... I'm the same age as you and i've both seen and USED an outhouse a few times in my life. (Would rather wait now, but as a kid sometimes that was the only option given for hours of driving.)
😁
You weren't far from this old WVA fella's home. I live in Inwood WVA. I really like the LONGER videos myself. Hope you're enjoying yourself visiting our wonderful neck of the woods 😊
Longer videos. Love...LOVE...the abandoned buildings. That's why I "followed" you years ago. ❤
💙
Like the longer videos.
JP thank you for taking us along with you 🙏🏼 always love watching your videos 🙏🏼 Aloha from Hawaii on the island of Oahu 🤙🏽🙏🏼
Been a while since I watched you. Enjoyed. I watched it. If I get busy, I just stop it and come back ..., kind of like a Part 2 or 3.
Definitely like the longer videos
Congrats Jay. You’ve discovered the backroads south. *jùst kidding* You better watch walking up on property. Someone, seriously, will take a shot at you. I did enjoy riding with you. Those were some beautiful small towns. You hit the jackpot in that one house. I like these kinds of videos. The time flies.😊💙
I like the rural abandoned videos, and the woods finds as well. Your video quality and photography are 1st rate, so the longer videos are a treat. Nice find with that "regional" Chessie train.
Hi JP. I love these kind of videos seeing different abandoned homes. The longer the videos are we have more time to watch
Hi Jay! I love this pic! I always look forward to your videos! Thank you, again, as always!
I really enjoyed your video. Its nice to take an armchair tour seeing rural parts of our great country. Thankyou so much
Thanks for taking us along on this beautiful scenic tour. The train was an awesome find. Maybe there was even more in the other drawers? I don't mind the longer videos. If for some reason I have to go do something I can always pause it and come back to it. That's pretty rare though. I like West Virginia too. My aunt and uncle used to live in Parkersburg years ago. It was such a pretty drive going to visit them. 😃
Wow. Such a beautiful area! Just amazing. I loved so many things about this video. The Cabin business looked pretty darn amazing. looked like a great place to stay. Loved those old pickups by that one trailer early in the video. Some of those abandoned places were great.
As for video length, the algorithm would surely prefer this as 3 videos, as shorter vids do better, but personally I LOVE longer videos from creators I enjoy watching. 1 or 2 hours? I'm there! More enjoyable than most movies today. Also I bet it would be better for your wallet if it was split up-- but I certainly am not an expert on how maximize revenue on YT. 💙😃
I prefer one video regarding of length. Just how people go to watch one movie in it's entirety and not only half. Thanks for your input.
No matter if it's long or broken up into pieces, I'll watch so whatever is best for your channel. I just appreciate the content and seeing all these neat lil places!
I personally enjoy having one longer video, especially if there's lots of things to check out. Thanks for your feedback.
Thanks for sharing, my mother was born around Whitmer and Elkins area. Been to Seneca caverns many times in my life a lot of special memories.
That last house that you called "The Texas Chainsaw House" kinda reminds me of the house where the movie "Powder" was recorded, especially with all those lightning rods on the roof.
As for video lenght, in my opinion either is fine.
love this kind of content, keep'em comin'.
I prefer seeing everything in one longer video since I don't want to cdhance missing a second-part! I love the 4-U Restaurant and Motel. Amazing inside view of the restaurant, I love all the old businesses that had neon signs. It's sad that it sits empty.....I guess not enough customers to maintain it. And 'YES", I would stay at the Yokum motel rooms (the closed ones) It's such a neat building with the outside steps going up. Can't believe that indoor pool but I guess it was good during colder weather! And I wouldn't be able to walk by even one of those old pay phones without checking the coin return!!! It was a thrill for me when I was young to check all I saw and actually find a bit of money. 💙😻😁
I like longer form videos, especially if there is something interesting to see.
💙🙂 That blue-green Ford is a 1958-1960 model years body style and a beautiful truck, but I wouldn't leave the patina. It would either be black or blue and made road worthy. It would take forever to get in or outnof the grocery store because the crowds would be big. I know that from my previous Thunderbird I had prior to the one I'm working on now.
I like these longer style videos. All the road- side finds are pretty nifty. Never know what you're gonna come across.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts
I loved the long style.
I live in a little town called Purgitsville, and we have an outhouse on our property. You probably went by it because we're not far from Petersburg. It was great seeing Petersburg through your eyes, I lived there once too.
The long version is fine! Nice video; I enjoyed all the roadside finds. Thank you for taking us along; always appreciated! ……🌝💙
😊
Big fly looked like a Cicada to me👩🏽🦳
When I was growing up in the’60’s we would visit relatives in Needmore Pa. They didn’t have an indoor toilet but an outhouse equipped with a Sears Roebuck Catalog. But I will say that place in West Virginia was stylish with that toilet seat. Fancy 😅
Gotta have reading material
Such beautiful scenery. Thank you for taking me along with you. A part of our wonderful country I would probably never get to see otherwise. I prefer the longer video over the two part videos. Nothing worse than getting wrapped up in the first half and then having to wait for the second half. With one long video, if I should get tired, I could always pause and return to where I left off later. Truly loved the video. Will be looking forward to the next one. Until then stay safe and God bless.
Steve in Oklahoma
Ty for your input
Ask 'em at Yocum's about Triangle Rock swimming hole nearby... 10 minutes east on 55.
💙🙂 Great video!!!
Thank you!!
I used to live in Petersburg. Lots of wonderful memories there.
Yes love these kinds of videos and like them being long awesome places I enjoyed watching 👍
A lot of cool stuff to see !! So many old stores so sad they are closed. The trains is a really odd thing for sure to find them left there 😳 . And that big old home was cool and yes I do definitely the Texas Chain Saw House !! Yes one long video is fine with me I love it !! Loved the pictures at the end ....I still say you should make and sell a calender of these wonderful pictures I would buy one every year !!! Great video as always !!
A great video Jay, I thoroughly enjoyed it, it didn't seem like an hour! You never know what you will find traveling the backroads of our country, but that is why it is referred to as 'Americana'! The different areas you explored made the time go quickly and added so much content to the video! Thank you again for taking the time and effort to record 'history' for us! 🙂💙
Thanks George. Next time I'll make sure to include the other findings I come across.
❤ the long videos. And yes the last house looks like the Texas chainsaw house 😮
watch out for those moonshiners .
We are planning to explore WV late this summer and fall. Some nice places to check out. Thanks! 👍🦖
Safe exploring
Posting doesn't stop me.Me and my dog were walking to a house that has 30 no trespassing signs along the road. One time we got caught. And the guy said u could walk back here .But u can,t bring any kind of motor vehicle. So we go see this beautiful house.
JP I love watching all your videos. But there’s something special about the long videos! Always great content and you are fun and interesting! This video was great! Thank you for taking your time to share with us! 👍🥰❤️😎
😊💙😊
I love back woods/road finds. The things you find are very interesting and sometimes leaves to pondering of times past. Chris and I are going to be doing some world exploring ourselves starting in 2025. I’m retiring, Chris is going along too. We’re going to travel to many countries in various continents. Our channel will change into two separate channels. One for me and one with Chris doing the night life and living overseas. We are going to have the world to explore for years, God willing. I’ll officially announce it closer to 2025. Great video. JP. Your the best at what you do. Have a great week 🤗. Fun fact, I past a restaurant in PA 20 yrs ago, in a side out of the way spot, that was named Piece Of Shit Restaurant. Couldn’t bring myself to go in and eat lol.
Oh wow... that sounds like one heck of a journey and adventure for you guys. Not many can say they get to do that, so that's amazing to hear. Ty so much for the kind words as well, it doesn't go unnoticed. And I'd probably check out that restaurant haha.
WV is a lovely state! I have vacationed in the mountains on several occasions. Entertaining video. Thank you!
We love the long videos! Great job on this one and definitely keep them coming!
😊
I have no preference as everything in the video is too interesting to pass up. Whether you break up a video or run a long one, it has my attention. Great stuff as always.
Thank you my friend
