- The Trollstigen (Trolls' ladder) Mountain Road is one of Norway's most dramatic and most visited attractions. The historic Trollstigen road, with its 11 hairpin bends, was opened in 1936,
Trollstigen has a steep incline of 9 percent and consists of 11 hairpin bends up a steep mountainside. Encircling the road are lofty mountains. Names such as Kongen (the King), Dronningen (the Queen) and Bispen(the Bishop) confirm their majesty.
Hahaha...l'm an norwegian, this road is not dangerous !!! But it's undoubtly one of the most beutyfull roads in europe with an spectacular scenery !!!
You are so lucky.. The place is like heaven.. I wish to visit there.. God knows when.. Loved it😍😍
Like river comes from sky to 🌎
@@ashakumari11_ I agree, doesn’t look that dangerous to me
Here you drive slowly to enjoy the surroundings. Beautiful
Not dangerous at all but one of the most beautiful driving experiences you will ever have. We have been to Norway four times so far and are looking forward to coming back as soon as possible. Each time we’ve spent at least three weeks driving to see the countryside and meet the wonderful people. Hard pressed to choose between Norway and Iceland.
A big Thank You to all the people who made this road possible. What a job!
Since the road opened 80 years there has been no serious traffic accidents. Several hundred thousand cars drive there during 3 summer months.
Spectacular scenery, good roads and wide developed park areas. Driving along the Trolls' Path looks a high quality experience.
Cool
What a video. Thank you for taking us along.
Thanks for the ride. Enjoyed the trip thoroughly. Beautifully Breathtaking!!!
Come on! This is NOT the most dangerous road in Europe. It's quite okay to drive on it. Even busses, caravans and RV's are driving in Trollstigen without problems. Trust me, I know it. I live only 80 km from it.
I think you are right. There are countries in Europe where 80% of the roads are more dangerous than Trollstigen :)
the most dangerous road in world is Death Road in Bolivia still used by extreme people, but there is a highway built near it for those that don't want to risk, highway was built in this century somewhere, before, people had to risk and many ended up dying.
”Dangerous” 😂😂😂
Beautiful country
Takk...wow Norway is a beautiful land!
I like it. The Sun, Mountain road, backsound, angle shoot camera.
Trolstigen is beautiful.
With headlines like this, certainly received my attention.

This is a great place to visit. Indeed Norway is one of the most beautiful country in the world.
Put Italy France and Switzerland
alberto cassinelli none of them has so many fjords and in winter the snow and nothern lights though. I think Norway just edges them
@@albertocassinelli1218 Norway is far superior I mean come on

Metalcoolique it's beautiful! Which part was scary? Hahaha
It's not in the least bit scary.
C'est sûr !!!! Magnifique...et je peux affirmer que cette route n'est pas dangereuse, il faut l'aborder à vitesse raisonnable car c'est une route touristique....!!!!!??????
Both
Beautiful scenery and road, and music too!
just noticed I was on double video speed but both speeds are nice, 2x speed is more catchy.
THANK You so much..🍁🌲🌲🍁

Fun and exciting road. Beautiful scenery. Lots of tourists. Dangerous, not at all. But possibly a bit scary for drivers not used to narrow and curvy roads.
My God how beautiful road .......more beautiful with natural beauty woooo fantastic! !!!!!!!!great tourist spot!
Wow!!! It’s so beautiful i love the beauty of nature ❤️ drive safe 👍
One of the most spectacular Roads in the World.
Looks like nice locations to explore and go hiking along the way. We done on the video, we enjoyed watching it. Thank you for sharing
Beautiful🎥
Que precioso .
Whether or not the road is dangerous, this a great video and the music fits it very well.
Thank you, very nice. I am going there in May and hopefully on towards North Cape.
I have travelled the Stahlheim and it is more dangerous. This one is AWESOME.
The mountains are very beautiful and make us happy and away from us thinking. I love the mountains a lot. I live in one of the Caucasus countries and there are many mountains ... Thank you for this great video ...
Какая красота и величие Земли!
Was this built by uyghur forced labor or by robots?🤖🧙♂️💮
I drove down Trollstigen road in 2004 (I think driving down is even more spectacular because we have a more complete view of its beautiful route) and I must say it is one of the most beautiful roads I have ever driven. And no, it's not dangerous, but some people are.
It's beautiful!
Great video 👍🏻
Dangerous road or beautiful road 💕
Beautiful ❤
I have driven more dangerous roads even in Norway at the west coast. Much smaller, much windier, much less guardrail. You could not see oncoming traffic until you hit it. I have no idea how I survived. I still don't know how people survive driving there. I decided to leave the area, never to return.
Very very beautiful video🍁🌼🍂🌺⛵☔☁☕
beautiful video !!
im from Norway and i know my stuff and Trollstigen is not any dangerous
Very nice road.
Danken.Exquisite.
The views are beautiful, especially the waterfall. But honestly? This is a really safe road, well secured. I was even a little bit disappointed ;P.
As an American I can confirm this road is not dangerous. One of the most breathtaking scenery of cliffs and waterfalls though!
wonderful it's beautifully done I love you Norwegian
so! much beautiful mountan
thanks you....!
..beautiful movie...Always intresting Norwegian landscape, altought it's a hard way to drive along.the music you choose well describe the "tension & attention"needed on that kind of road. i hope other work like this from you. bye
The most beautiful road
"The most dangerous road in Europe"
utter bollocks it's not even in the top 100
Click bait.
Thank you oandrushko!
Суперррр!!! Слов нет
What a view those road builders had each day
Vídeo fantástico!
muito bom! Amei
Very nice County 👍
Stunning scenery yes, but certainly not the most dangerous.
Enslaved - Havenless begins to play in my head whenever I see a Norwegian countryside video.
Every
mf
single
time.
The transition is what does it. in just a few minutes you go from warm, wet and lush to cold and mountains. You feel it a lot more than you do in the Alps I think.
been there a few times, on my motorbike, fantastic road
A beautiful highway.
I can't stop wandering, if God created such beauty on this earth, where everything, sooner or later dies ... how will the heaven be ?
Certainly way less dangerous than a lot of roads we have in Ireland. As one of Ireland’s Norwegian immigrants, I can certainly tell you Trollstigen is child’s play compared to some of the Kerry and West Cork peninsula drives. They’re closer to Bolivian mountain crossings if you ask me.
What is so dangerous in this road? Looks very well built and wide road to me in comparison to hilly roads in my country. People here will feel lucky if we had such roads in our hilly regions.
It rains and snows a lot in this part of Norway. Slippery roads are the biggest problem you'll face. The road is only relatively wide as long as the steering wheel works.
@@politicallycorrectredskin796 Not sure what you are complaining about. There are two reasons for the slippery road, one because of ice on the road and another one because of poor construction and maintenance. If the road is well built and maintained then ice problems can be mitigated by using type chains and driving slow. But otherwise, its good to drive. On the other hand when road is bumpy and poorly maintained then you not only has ice problem but also bumpy ride and potholes as well.
Surely NOT the most dangerous road but one of the most exciting roads in Europe.
osam bro
Masyaa Alloh very very beautifull Norwegia.❤
It was a bit trickier in the 60's when it was a gravel track,...even trickier in2002 when I lost my brakes... on the way up..luckily. Try the road from La Paz to the Yungas for real fun,
He visto carreteras bien asfaltadas y muy bien señalizadas. Mas peligrosas. Es una carretera para disfrutar del paisaje y de la conducción. Precioso el paisaje. Buen trabajo Gracias
Its actually the most scary road!
Most people, and tourists dont know how challenging it is to drive.
Dangerous, well,itdepends on the driver....
Anyhow it is a fantastic route to drive!👍🌲🌻🌞😃🇳🇴
Nice landscape in Norway
This road is very similar to the "Going to the Sun road" in Glacier National Park in Montana, USA
It seem no danger at all i can drive to that road without fear it beautiful
Up, down, right and left... Trollstigen is the most amazing road in Europe. And this road is close in winter
Stunningly beautiful, but yes, scary and hard on brakes! Hats off to the bike dudes going uphill, if they are.
I've driven that road millions of times. This road isn't dangerous at all. It is just a beautiful, silent road in the middle of Møre og Romsdal
That looks like a nice easy route to me. Try the "Hardknott Pass" in the Lake district, UK. Single track with passing places, no barriers, great fun though.
Brian Smith Or “The Bealach” (Bealach Na Ba), Wester Ross, (Scotland)...
Not only that, it has 33% grades that puts this road to shame! Certainly the most white knuckle driving I've ever done was on those one lane roads in the Lake District over 40 years ago! Hard to believe, but Wikipedia says the road over the pass was first built by the Romans in 110AD!

Norge är så vackert🇳🇴🦉👍👍👍😊
Very easy and safe looking road in good weather, except for traffic and people driving that should stay below in a park!
whoever told the person in the car that its ok to pass up cars and bikes waiting for the busses to come down told them wrong. That is considered extremely rude where I live.
In my opinion, driving in Trollstigen is not dangerous. It's scary if you're afraid of heights. I already conquered this route twice in 2013 and in 2018 all the way to Geiranger Fjords. I enjoyed it ❤️🇳🇴
wonderful road, i drove it twenty yesrs ago
norway is nice. I hope I can go to Norway. someday
I would love to drive this, if you want dangerous try trailridge road out of Rocky mountain national park with it's hairpin turns and no guardrails, the last time I drove on it back in 1982, a car had gone over the side, it's very narrow in spots but what a spectacular view and pikes peak highway that wasn't paved all the way up and was dirt to the summit, again no guardrails.
GÜZEL 👍
This road isnt dangerous at all, it is extremely spectacular though and a masterpiece of engineering and planning. It is best enjoyed outside of the tourist season though, driving up or down in a queue is not recommended. But if one wants to drive a truly challenging road try Aursjøvegen from Eikesdalen, it makes this look like an autostrada, narrow gravelroad with sheer cliffs on both sides and no crash barrier in some places. And the most wonderful view you can imagine.
الله شني هالجمال اكو بالدنيا مثل هاي مناظر مظلومين احنه😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Relax .....
That would be an interesting motorcycle ride in the dark of a clear full-moon sky.
i like there
Beautiful movie ,saved me the effort of going there, thanks for sharing
What a beautiful landscape ! Would be a dream on a bicycle. For the road, well, I don't see where is the safety issue.
It's ACTUALLY a VERY safe road to travel. Where could you have gotten the idea its "The most dangerous road in Europe?" Wrong title
