Nice! I had a pretty silly build with Zag aspect + flurry slash, piercing wave, 30% attack speed from hermes, and athena attack. Just hold down the attack button and deflect everything.
I had something like this against the Lernie that Spawns minions. I used it to grind over 500 gold from killing the minions and only stopped because I got bored
Halfway through Asphodel I was ready to get mad that you ruined the movement speed zoom run but this ended up being way better than just maxing out movement speed.
This was how I got my first sword clear. I’d pretty much run out of defiance’s so thought “sod it I’ll get cursed slash now for the prophecy as I’ll never clear” and have never had an easier clear it was phenomenal!
Pretty sure you've had a run with this build, but my favorite invincible build is Posidon Call, Aphro/Zeus Duo, Pressure Point and Hunters Instinct from Artemis, Clouded Judgement from Zeus, Rip Current from Posidon, and then just about any other boons you want. Pretty much 100% uptime on the call, get enough poms on it and you deal stupid damage. Hella fun to run.

"Can I heal through poison you think?" No. I've tried, it does more and more damage each tick, so you will die, regardless of regen. Unless you clear the encounter fast enough so that it doesn't stack too high.

Watched your videos recently and for a mistake i set the timer for 5 minutes and did 5 straight wins with different weapons in a speedrun manner. I couldnt fit the spear in for 6 weapon swap run.

He mentioned he would be reaching the max boop amount in the beginning of the run (if not I might have understood it wrong - if so, apologies for that). So is there an actual maximum amount of boops you can have whilst using Thanatos or Hermes keepsake? Or did i get something wrong. I'm legitimately curious about this. Thanks to anyone who answer me.
It's just limited to how many combat chambers you complete successfully. You can skip combat chambers by entering shops/events/fountains, which means less boops.

The boost from nourished soul doesn't actually do anything in practice unfortunately. :( Since cursed slash only heals 2hp, the % increase from nourished soul just rounds down back to 2.
created a new save file. And touched the stars too soon... Run 2 I get enough drops to have a death defying bonus, run 3 : I get the Daedalus Cursed Slash as the introductory boon. I reached the minotaur on that 3rd run ... my 25th ever. Had reached the Theseus + Minotaur fight a couple runs before on my other save file.... Now I dream of Cursed Slash every passing moment
You can get it offered as his first boon if you're using his keepsake, otherwise you need Flurry Cast or Quick Reload (Auto-Reload when using Stygian Soul).
As iam a noob, can some explain me what happened there? Even without the heal, he basically just stand infront of enemies and hold donw Y. Is that due to the attack speed? And why came zerberus and meg ocassionally in?
Yeah. He had a hammer to increase attack speed and a Hermes boon that boosted it even more. Enemies were too stunned to do anything. ETA: I know the difference between a hammer and a sword, I swear.
As you progress through the game you unlock companion items that let you summon support from a friend. Meg is one of these. With extreme measures 4 on the pact of punishment turned on, Hades gets new attacks and summoning Cerberus is one of them.
How does this "losing a boon for the run" works? As I understand the game enforces a % of run vs meta room rewards. How can player choice influence the run? Asking cuz I researched this and did find the answer EDIT: Just realized he said *boop* meaning the hermes keepsake buff lmao

200 attempts, and I've gotten Flurry slash once.... cursed slash once, and never together.
108 attempts, had it happen 3-4 times and that's just on the sword.... it's somewhat common

Honestly, used this combo to beat hades for the first time. All other weapons paled in fun after that.

I use Athena a lot! For deflecting with a dash or with my attack. Or even both and then I just go full-blown dash-strike massacre lol.

iirc every time you go to mirror it autosaves, so if the run was to be restarted, all the weapons, keepsakes and such are also saved

And oh yeah, he’s also using Aspect of Zagreus on sword which boosts attack speed even more.

hes also using the feather to stack passive dodge chance - which is useful damage mitigation when not avoiding attacks intentionally
