Brian Walker I agree Brian. A few times it felt real and funny but making him like the poster boy of that mini show I felt was very undermining towards a great guy 🙁

As a Warriors fan I still feel like we shouldn't have let Javale walk.
I agree that Golden State would have more flexibility when Klay or Steph Curry are double teamed if they still had the option of tossing a long to JaVel McGee and in the vicinity of the rim. He also gave them an intimating rim protector.
Think they knew Javale could make more money. And he did. Watched lakers just to see how he would play.
That was the first dominoe to fall and a big one.

Love Javale. Super underrated in Warriors championship run. Kevin Looney and Bogut aren't nearly as atheltic as mcgee. Warriors literally unlocked this man. Just shows what its like playing for the Warriors, they turn bums into guns. If only Mcgee brain now was in his body when he entered the league, he would be unreal. Issue with Warriors this season, is shot-blocking and rebounds. They actually need Mcgee. Of course, they signed Demarcus instead. Mcgee runs the floor way better than any big Warriors have had in the last 5 final runs.

YGAM LTD I didn’t, but Javale said it himself, he was perceived as a goof early in his career. They’re putting themselves out on the biggest stage and proving the media wrong. I just want to see more of it

A lot of his Shaqtin' plays were there result of him trying to do too much in a moment where something simple would have sufficed. It's also, quite often, something that would have been rather impressive had it been pulled off.
You don't make those plays if you never try. If anything he's been a little too ambitious at times, not a complete idiot.

JaVale McGee one of my favorite NBA players! i was so glad GSW chose him. GSW brought him in and took care of him as family and told the NBA world about his basketball IQ as well! They appreciated him. It warms my heart-- McGee is having a GREAT NBA career and is an 3x NBA champion! 🏆🏆🏆 i pray the very BEST for you J McGee!
Wow.. very calm and collective guy. I love all his responds towards his current and previous team and teammates. He didn't badmouth anyone of his former teammates, coaching staff or neither one of the team's Instead he helped promoting everyone including himself.
Javelle caught my eye in Denver, (playoffs). When the Dubs & Dallas started talking I said, get JaVale. Ppl went with the stereotype, said no no. I said he just needs to be on a team that isn’t BS and that has a chance to win. I was alone & they couldn’t understand why I was so bullish on him.
Everything he gave the Dubs is exactly what I expected. Please come back, lots of love in the Bay that will last (beyond BBall).

JaVale is incredibly explosive and gave the Warriors a spark. He appears to have ADHD, as his feet were twitching a little during the interview. Could be related to his occasional lack of focus as the season is long, heavy jet lag, recovery fatigue, etc. Would like to see him back with the Warriors; he fit in well with everyone here.

JaVale’s two years with Warriors are successful. Decent guy.
JaVale McGee is a class act and a good man with his charity work. On the Warriors he also made numerous spectacular plays, where he would grab the defensive rebound, pass it up court, then *run the entire length of the floor to receive an alley-oop pass and dunk it for a basket*. That’s more aggressive than 90% of the centers in the league; much respect.

I love the point he makes about social media. It's funny seeing players who couldn't hold their cool in a bar, on the court, in interviews, sit back on their high horse and act like they'd had NEVER responded to anyone on social media.
