Actually, Bill and Colin are hilarious together. Compared to others, Colin takes Bill's jokes and ball-busting really well. That mixed with overly-emotional sports talk is great. Colin obviously finds him funny and reacts perfectly

I always thought Bill Burr hated LA but after hearing what he said about the city here I've gained a lot more respect for him. He's right, there's a lot of transplants that move out here wanting to be stars or for the warmer weather that it creates this illusion to other out of towners that we're really like this and that when it's THEIR people. The Lakers have been catering to the transplant wealthy celebrities here pricing up tickets that only they can afford.

Many Bostonions and East Coasters for that matter, have style and swagger that people in the middle of the country and West Coast simply don't, generally speaking. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is, but I think it's mostly due to the fact that many on the East Coast inherit their culture whereas others, such as those on the West Coast are still creating their culture. A little humility, self-deprecation and modest expectations are staples of broader East Coast culture (though it's dying out) but certainly not out West. It's for reasons such as those just previously listed that many non-residents are drawn to life and people out East, and loathe much of West Coast culture and it's people. Don't get me wrong, these aren't absolutes, and there's plenty of good people from every part of the country including the West Coast, but I don't think anyone who's genuinely well-informed on contemporary American culture can wholly denounce what's been said.
I've seen Bill at a couple LA Kings games. He speaks the truth. Very good fan base there.
