It's not just by sexual contact this has got to stop if I have it and use a towel and leave it in the bathroom and somebody uses that same towel 30 minutes later they'll get it

Yes if you have intercourse and become infected, you could also become pregnant if you are not using birth control. Or if you are already pregnant, you can still become infected.

Yes you can, from bath cloths and towels. It's not as common as catching it sexually but it is possible.
