i think, she kept the dancing choreo slightly effortless as in this show you have to sing without a backing track
@@roninforge well she did still have a pretty loud backing track, but I think she still sang live? Sometimes it sounds prerecorded tho cuz thre’s no variation to her breath the way you would normally hear with this much choreo and running up stairs lol, but I also know Alexa sings amazingly well live so istg i have no idea

@@kb-ih7ni if she sang live then she definitely had autotune on. In some parts it sounds too perfect in other parts too distorted. A lot of artist do, so I am not hating, it's just what I hear.

@@PPfilmemacher she does sing live but the backtrack was loud af, i whis that her next stage, asc should lower the back track so we can see her sing live. i’m not that disappointed in ways that she actually killed the performance but true that they should let her sing live with less volumed back track
@@PPfilmemacher it’s a pretty common thing in Kpop right now… many singers just lip sync even though they’re very good singers. It’s very sad

love all the other contestants but gotta admit that AleXa snatched the victory so easily in this one
her performance was oozing her personality and her stage presence made everything so entertaining. The way it was all composed so well, you can FEEL the effort put into this performance
kudos to everyone who worked on this one, it was IMPECCABLE.
If you have experience participating in K-pop audition programs, you can succeed in any competition. Because K-pop auditions are very harsh. Alexa was already being evaluated as a singer with great potential among K-pop idols.

Can't believe she got dropped out as 82nd at the kpop contest in Korea.
Koreans are conservative and passionate about idols, so they like foreigners, but they are cold in evaluation. The path for foreigners to succeed is either Japanese or Chinese. Idols who sometimes look like Americans are mixed-race or can speak Korean. For example, Somi. He's a successful type because he's in a big company.

Out of all the performances she did I enjoyed this one way too much her charisma was overflowing and of course her dance moves really cannot lie. She is wonderful . Winner in my heart

for the ones saying “sHe Is LiP sYnCiNg ThRoUgH tHe WhOlE sOnG” no. i literally heard her sing LIVE at the early beginning and even later. her there were 2 voices heard, one the audio and the other was her LIVE voice. u just can’t admit it that some people can sing PERFECTLY live

well, when she jumps around maybe it is just the backing vocal tape and sometimes she just add her voice that creates that double take. But it can not be 100% live

@@Lezleyannshaw Yes, it's a backing track. I followed her since her debut and have seen many of her performances. While I can vouch for the fact that she can definitely dance and still sing very well at the same time, her vocals were still overshadowed by the loud ass track in this video😔 She's getting hate for it I really wish she could prove them wrong in the semis

The thing is, why do I feel like Alexa is holding back ? Us followers of Kpop know how much more complicated dancing She is able to do and while her execution on this stage is flawless, the dance is not as addictive to watch or as dynamic as like "revolution" or even "Do or die". I am hoping She is allowed to go all out in the future because I don't think American audiences are ready for what She can give.
Based from the comments, Alexa is probably limiting her dancing because she's singing live I think there's still backing vocals but she's definitely singing live.
