i teach 7th ELA in a title 1 school with many first generation kids from Mexico and various 21:27 south american countries. i swear the passages will be about yachting or ski vacations. 😆
I live in reading PA and saw a sign in my local arena and saw a sign that bored teachers were here and sold out the show! The show was earlier this year 😊

Thank you for this episode. I am a teacher overseas. I teach overseas because Canada has too many teachers, so we can't get jobs at home. You connect me to the teaching community. Covid regulations created such a wonderful podcast. Good things can come out of a nightmare, God Bless!
In Kansas City years ago, our professional development before school started for the year was to break up into groups and take the new state tests. Teachers with doctorates couldn’t pass the tests!! It was crazy!
So funny about the elf because we have also lost our elf and had to call around to stores and have them hold and then buy another only to fi d them all and that all said...same situation had to get diff elf and explain that the elves rotate. Th lf o. The shelf stopped this season. Thank God

On my 28th birthday I had a party bus I was single without children and at the end of the night we all ended up back at my house with Jaguars, parked in front and a party bus outside and I was crying and singing. It’s my party, and I’ll cry if I want to cry if I want to cry if I want to.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 OMG! Waking up the next day was a horrible memory❤ and I celebrated a whole month until I had my first kid in my 30s lol

We have some teachers who do elf on the shelf in their classrooms, but then to add to it we have a creepy elf we pass from classroom to classroom and pose it to scare the teacher in the morning 😂

I would get so stressed with outdoor ed I'd sleep talk to students, it's like okay they'll are stressing me out in my sleep.

Bri I can’t believe your school doesn’t use PBIS. Positive behavior incentive systems really work and they aren’t always completely chaotic. They just need a committee. You and your kiddos deserve to have a party if you want to

Too many standardized tests in my opinion. I've had to proctor up to 5 standardized tests in a year for 7th and 8th grade. State testing, ACT prep, IXL diagnostic, etc. It's more data than we need.
And they grade teachers mote than students.

I feel sorry for the teachers in our town we don't have the places y'all talking about...their 40 mi or more away...we do have 2 gas stations neither are Buccees closest one is over 100 mi away
