    Very well done. Nice pace and explanation of all features. I am not a sheet metal person so I'm not familiar with cross section, what is it?

    • @CADCAMTutorials
      @CADCAMTutorials  Před 6 lety

      Cross section is given for stiffening the sheet. To strengthen the sheet.

      Gauge table is sheet size table. Standard sheet sizes available in market. For K-factor you will have to search on the net.

      @Wanderlust171 Před 3 lety

      @varun K factor, also called stretch factor used for calculation of bend allowance in sheet metal while bending..
      Bend allowance = alpha *(Radius + strech factor *thickness)

    But why sheet metal in the first place? can't these be done by extrusion.

    • @CADCAMTutorials
      @CADCAMTutorials  Před 3 lety +2

      Using extrusion it will be very tough and time consuming. With sheet metal module it is fast and easy. And development is not possible for extruded part.
