  • How To Fry Tilapia | Fried Tilapia Recipe | Whole Tilapia with Lemon Garlic & Spring Onion
    This low-carb Tilapia or Talapia Fish fry recipe is super easy to make and takes nearly 30 minutes to prepare altogether. If you are looking for a healthy, gluten-free and keto-friendly meal idea, then this Tilapia recipe is perfect for you. Make it for your weekday dinners or serve this as a flavorful dish in a house party - this elegant dish is surely going to be a hit!

    Ingredients you will need -
    1. Tilapia Fish - 500 gm
    2. Lemon - 2
    3. Chopped Parsley - 1 tsp
    4. Salt - as per taste
    5. Black Pepper Powder - 1 tbsp
    6. A bunch of Spring Onion
    7. Garlic (Whole) - 1
    8. Thyme (Optional)
    Cooking Method:
    1. At first, make some shallow cuts on the fish body from both the sides. Then season the fish with Lemon juice, black pepper powder (1 tbsp) and salt.
    2. Leave the fish to rest for at least 15 minutes.
    3. Once the marination is done, place a few strands of Spring Onion into the cuts.
    4. Now heat 1 tbsp of Olive Oil in a pan. You can use other cooking oils as well. But hence this recipe is keto-friendly, it’s better to use Olive Oil, Coconut Oil or Butter.
    5. On the pan, place the whole garlic (chop off the head) and add some Thyme for flavour.
    6. Now add the bunch of Spring Onion and chopped Parsley.
    7. Stir fry for 2 minutes, then add the Fish. It’s time to cover the pan and let the Fish cook properly.
    8. In between flip the sides to cook evenly from both the sides.
    9. Remember to keep the flame low while cooking the Fish. Otherwise, it might get burnt.
    10. To check if the Fish is cooked properly, poke the body using a fork or stick. If nothing comes out then the Fish is ready.
    11. Before serving the fried Tilapia, you can toss the Spring Onions in some Lemon juice to enhance the flavor.
